Biloxi book swap/book sale

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

Biloxi book swap/book sale

Post by London Shooter » Tue Jan 12, 2016 6:34 am

Not sure if there will be any mileage in this, but if you don't ask you don't get.

I have several gambling books kicking around which I will happily swap for books I have not read, or will sell for fair market value.

If anybody will be in Biloxi and is interesting in bringing their stuff to swap, or wants to purchase any of the following let me know - there won't even be a shipping fee

(Apologies in advance to the H man who won't like a couple of titles on my list)

Winning At Casino Gambling - Lyle Stuart. Good condition
Thirteen Against The Bank - Normal Leigh. Good condition
American Roulette - Richard Marcus. Good condition.
The Big Book Of Blackjack - Arnold Snyder. Excellent condition
John Patrick’s Roulette - Good condition but does have some highlighting and markings.
Casino-ology, The Art of Managing Casino Games - Bill Zender. I bought new have read once and is pristine.
Casino-ology 2, New Strategies for Managing Casino Games - Bill Zender. I bought new have read once and is pristine.
Million Dollar Video Poker - Bob Dancer. Good condition.
John Patrick’s Craps - Fair to good condition
The Dice Doctor - Sam Grafstein. I bought new have read once and referred to a good few times. Is still in excellent condition.
The Mad Professor’s Crapshooting Bible - Tino Gambino. Bought new, have gone through this a couple of time. Book is still in excellent condition.
The Craps Underground - Frank Scoblete. Good condition.
Comp City, A Guide to Free Casino Vacations, 2nd edition. Max Rubin. Good condition.
Get The Edge At Craps - Sharpshooter. Good condition.

Not an entirely bad list. I already have about half of them on the shelf. LOL. I even have a copy of that one you think I'd be displeased over - only because a friend of mine decided I needed it and gave me a copy.

Hard to imagine packing an extra five to ten pounds of books on an International flight, but hey! There's a couple in there I might be interested in. Don't really have any to swap because I rarely get rid of books.

Bring 'em on.

One thing I have learned about international travel is the modern day allowance of 23KG (50lb) is more than enough for the modern man.

It's only when you get the modern woman (or even worse, modern women - ie mum + adult daughter) involved that things become very tricky :)

I'll have plenty of capacity to bring a few of these over, if you or anybody else, are interested in any of the titles.

Bring all of your guns with you while you're at it. :-)

I just got a bunch of these (see my post on the VIP board for my post-Christmas present to myself) and have some of these already in my library. There might be one or two I could be interested in and let me check my gambling related library to see if there is anything I might be wanting to exchange (although, like Heavy, I tend to hold on to these things).

Great idea LS.

Speaking of swag n swaps in Biloxi, Heavy will you have any of your dice in tow for sale that weekend? I would probably pick up a few more sleeves of them.

Just giving this a bump in case anybody is interested in any of the titles.

I'm flying out a week tomorrow.
