Aggressive 4 & 10 move

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

That's very similar to how I play it, but I'll usually start out with even mumbers, with $25 each on the 4 and 10, and $18 each on the y and 8. The 4 and 10 always double up on the winning number on a hit, so it's 25, 50, 100 on the first 3 hits. Then I go to 250, 500. 1000, 2500, 5000. You'd be surprised how often you get to 1000.

This is similar to the Craps Lesson that was all the rage for a whil, but in that play you power pressed from 25 to 100 on the first hit.

After keeping track of how many 4's and 10's I toss for the past year and a half I have adjusted my 4 and 10 betting.

If I start with $25.00 on each one I go $50.00/$100.00/$250.0/regress to $25.00.

While my SRR is good, I have found that I don't have the really long rolls often enough to outweigh the benefit of racking at the $250.00 hit instead of stacking.

If I'm playing an aggressive 4 and 10 strategy I'll just play $18 each on the six and eight and put more money on the four and ten initially. I don't press the six or eight until I have a total of four hits on the combined bets. Essentially I use the six and eight to "pay for" my total action. Four hits collects $84. I have $86 action on the table. Odds are by the time I get that fourth hit I've already had at least one hit on the four or ten and collected another $25 (remember I pressed it to $50 when it hit). But the risk of this play is the short hand. It's easy to dig a hole.
