The Triple Parlay on Hardways

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

I don't play the hards any more, but when I did I would half parlay them on the 6/8.

Great when they hit for 3/4 times but it doesn't happen often.

Ya found my weakness. Love the HWs. Myself, I watch for shooters that are prone to throw HWs and then bet them. At one time, it was just a standard bet to me. I can assure you I am waaaaaaaaaay behind on winning with them.
Your craps plan? The dice gods laughed.

I rarely start out with more than a dollar each on the hard ways. I always parlay the first hit. I always press the second hit. So a hard six or eight goes $1 to $10 to $25 to $100.

I only play the hardways when my session bankroll gets sufficiently up to have some mad money to burn, but when I get to that point, I follow something similar to what Heavy outlined above.

The casino may have a Max Limit of $2500 or $5000 .
In my exposure, the Maximum Limit is posted as such and applies to
Pass Line /Do Not Pass....Come Wager/Do Not Come Wager
..............and Place Bets on Box Numbers....................
<
That said :You may find that Prop Wagers (bets) are caped off at a far less USD $
of perhaps $250 or $300 or whatever the Comfort Zone specific to The specific HOUSE
>
Many joints ( casinos ) cap off the ODDS at the MAXIMUM LIMIT posted on the placard
SO EVEN
10X or 100X odds may be the TABLE LIMIT of $1K or$2K , or $5K ( or whatever )
that is the maximum Limit .........
_
The casino and/or THE CORPORATE NUMBERS CRUNCHER
SELECT
the maximum U S D $ exposure permitted in their club.....
.
Not sure of the total number of U S A casinos offering craps , I could " guestimate "a number and facts could discredit any number I pull out of the atmosphere....
.
Some other player may have an exact number of currently legal casinos...
Bride of Wild Child recently tossed into the shredder my collection of 300~ player cards
I have visited over 25 years in travels sea to shinning sea....
( she spared the few we most often visit ) .
..
Perhaps there are A P C Board members with knowledge of a joint
willing to allow the House exposure to loss to run into greater U S D $ amounts.
You could ask the Box Man the maximum for Prop Action......

Still wagering the table limit and getting a win is an interesting concept

just me saying

I'll always start with a two way hardway, 5 and 1 on the point. If I'm shooting I'll start it off with 10 and 2.

For several years I was successful with the double parlay $1 to $10 to $100 on the 6 or 8 but I never made the triple parlay work. When I had a lot of chips in my rack I would try it without any luck. I currently toss the stickman $5 when I have set a 6 or 8 as my point and tell him $2 each on the hard 6 and 8 and $1 for the dealers on the point. I usually hit one or more hard 6's or 8's on my hands. On my first hit I take $10 and leave $10 on that hardway. If it hits again I Take $75 and leave $25 on that hardway. Only one time in the last couple of months have I hit it the third time and taken $200 and leave $50 on the hardway. That would have been a triple parlay. I have shown a profit on this play - I toss a lot of hard 6's and 8's but I toss a lot of easy 6's and 8's. At one of my regular casinos; the dealers ride with me with their dollar and collect $5 when it hits and leave the other $5 riding with my bet and they are rewarded when I hit it the second time.

I throw way too many soft 6's & 8's to regularly bet those, but I'll make a $1 HW on them for the crew and piggyback a buck for me, so I can work it; if they hit, I press to $5 each and rack/hand-in the rest. As I'm using a modified V-2 mutant - if it's looking good - I will bet the 4 & 10 HW and full press the first hit as they generally come in bunches for me. I like to use the hardways as a means to keep control of the pace, as whenever there's a delay or a disruption, I like to toss in a $1 hardway as my way to regain my control of the momentum.

I hardly ever throw money on the hardways unless I'm ahead and it's a buck at first like Heavy. But now since I've been using
Dr. Franz a lot of them are suddenly appearing. I will now always go 4 and 10.
