Baccarat

Believe it or not, craps is not the only game in the casino. Savvy players have a back-up plan for when their craps game is off. If Heavy isn't winning at Craps you're likely to find him playing Baccarat, Blackjack, or even Roulette. If the table games aren't working out he may even take a cigar break in the high limit slot area for a little hit-and-run action. But just like craps - you have to plan your play and play your plan. If you have a question on slots, video poker, carnival games or any table games other than craps, this is the place to post. Let's hear about the games you play when you're not playing craps! What's your game? What's your strategy? How's that working out for you? Inquiring minds want to know!

Good catch wiremonkey...I hardly EVER play those tables because I don't like the machines and the fact that players are not allowed to handle the cards due to reduced minimum bets vs. the main tables. They happen to be right beside the main craps table, so I often watch the play when waiting for a good SL or SR position to open up!

Didn't have time this visit to give it a hard look.

Also allows u to play sic bo.

That's playing against the computer I believe. Not live hands. We have that in my local as well. Haven't played it yet but will this week.

All Electronic Sic Bo or with the automated dice bubble? Well, either way, Heavy is absolutely correct. Sic Bo will grind every last $ out of you unless you can hit some triples (very rarely).

Recently as I was on my way to the Mens room as I walked by the bacc table there was quite a Banker run going on. When I returned this is what I saw.

Image

My brain is wired that the trend will end so I probly would have sat there with tuma.

I watched for awhile as only one player was betting 4 green chips on the run all others watched in disbelief.

There was one participant betting on Player and when he finally won the Banker Run dude was pissed off saying that was BS!!!!!!!!!!!! Because on the third card Player reduced to a measly two HOWEVER LOL Banker reduced to one and lost.

Those are insane streaks. I would have won something like 8 out of 13 using the Baccarat Battle Plan system. If you can't make money on a streak like that you need to be playing slots.

What is the bankroll variance regarding the 'Baccarat Battle Plan' system?

There are several different betting strategy variants in the system, depending on how aggressive or conservative you want to be. For that reason we simply give recommended bankroll levels along with win a win goal and loss limit.

Utilizing this manual’s technique as it is designed to be played you should have a minimum 175-Units Bankroll. That is not a session bankroll - that's a trip bankroll. I suggest you have around 250 units in reserve - $2500 if you're playing $10 games. That gives you room to make a few rookie judgement errors while learning the system and not jeopardize your main bankroll while building experience.

A session bankroll should be 35-units. In a $10 game that's $350. That's the amount you set aside for each session you play on a casino trip. If you spent two days in the casino and played three sessions each day then you'd be looking at $2100 for your trip bankroll. This is for each session you play; each casino trip. Personally, I'd recommend you use the envelope system for managing your bankroll. That has been detailed here on the site many times.

When it comes to your bankroll, the value of your units can be dollars, nickels ($5), dimes
($10), quarters ($25) or even cheques ($100). This depends on your finances, skill level and a
healthy dose of common sense.

I consider a 50% loss limit per session to be about right. I'd look at a win goal of 50% as well, but I would not be afraid to walk with any win. On a $350 buy in, if I got ahead by more than $70 I'd take an up and pull approach, locking up a guarantee and continuing to play with my excess in hope of gaining a bigger win.

Having played baccarat for a long time one thing is certain it is a much streakier game than craps. I believe it has to do with the pass line having the ability to win on multiple points before the seven arrives. I know zumma craps had a chart with streaks of the PL and DP. I just cannot find the damn book. I know when I looked at it I thought if only PL and DP had instant results like in baccarat, craps is less streaky there must be a system that would work there that would be anti streak.

There are "chop" strategies out there that can work for either game. Sometimes you have to look back 5 decisions or more to pick up the pattern in the chop. The ultimate key in playing chop strategies is to enforce the 3 consecutive losses and out rule.

That is awesome advice. How many times do I wish I would have done that?

I didnt like the computer machines. Cherokee had some $15 computer tables, but with a dealer to hand out the chips. Not good random IMO and I lost, then I went to the $50 regular table and did well.

The shoe had a TT (Terrible Twos) streak I got on OTB4L (opposite time before last) and crushed it out of the park. A good 2/3 of the shoe in TT with only slight deviation. I made two or three level 2 bets.

Doom on them.

What are the odds???

Walked past a Baccarat table Friday on the way to the craps table. I looked over at the results board to see a run of five Players, followed by SIX Ties in a row! Then, the Player run continued four more times before ending. I've never seen more than three back to back Ties ever. It so happens that it was a High Tie table with various odds ranging from 40 to 220:1 on the specific Tie result number outcome. Thing of it is...I only saw three people at the table. Hope they caught some of that action!!!

The "see a tie - bet a tie" crowd would have made a fortune.

The problem with those cute Thai strippers is that many of them come with an extra appendage. Of course, there's something for everyone.
