Bumping this up as H was looking for a thread with his Crapless game strategy following the recent trip report from The Cleaner.

My favorite table at NYNY was just redone with a crapless layout. However, they added extra padding making it bouncy as hell now. I consider it not playable in light of these recent events. Watching the Vegas crowd step up to play was entertaining. They'd realize it was a different game once they established aces as the point and mutter," what the hell?". It was at that point they'd realize all the darkside options were gone from the table as well.

A few PSO's on crapless can destroy your bankroll quicker than your wife finding your wallet unattended.
Sometimes in Midwest venues crapless is the only table open. In that case I bet one of my normal box number strategy's and when it comes time to press, I spread out to the extremes instead.
For those trying to accrue points in a TR casino. You'll get rated much better on a crapless table than regular craps. Especially the one in KC.

Yeah, I was on that crapless game at Harrahs last year when some street person tossed a 66 number hand. Fat City.

Or is this because you're betting on those extreme outsides?

I assume you're talking about ratings. Even if you bet only the regular box numbers you'll get rated better on most crapless tables because the computer program is set for a higher house edge game.

House edge is a lot higher for basic passline play so that's perhaps got a lot to do with it - lazy I guess from CET but very interesting to hear nontheless.
Has anybody noticed this with higher ratings at Harrahs in Biloxi?

If you are betting the pass line and not shooting, it’s possible you never passed fifth grade!

Re: How do YOU handle Crapless Craps?
The ratings are interesting animals. If, for example, you're playing roulette part of the calculation includes the house advantage over the random player. From there they it down into three levels of player (at least they used to ten years ago - not sure on the modern terminals) to what amounts to "Smart Player, Average Player, and Dumb Ass." Actually it's an A, B, or C skill level. Then it's all about buy-in, average bet, decisions per hour, hours played, and cash out. I could not tell you how each is weighted, but I would think that player skill level, average bet, decisions per hour and hours played are the biggies.

So if you can’t lay bet and no DP or no DC how do you win when it’s cold table?

No such thing as a cold table
Re: How do YOU handle Crapless Craps?
The only crapless in the state of Delaware is at Harrington, which you can do lay bets, but its only open on Friday and Saturday nights. It just happens to be the best table in the casino to throw on, a nice 12 footer, no microfiber, minimum underlay. Vig up front.
