Re: Casino Dominoes
The funny thing was the video that followed the UNLV/Plaza debut video. A street fight in West Las Vegas. Crazy shit.
On casino dominos - when I was a kid there was always a domino game going at the local pool hall. Sometimes they played traditional dominos for a penny a point or whatever. But sometimes they broke out the special dominos, which were in reality playing card faces on dominos. They played poker with these for big money.
Last of all, back around the turn of the century (1900's - not 2000's) dice were referred to as African Dominos because the pip faces looked the same as the pips on dominos - and the game of craps was prevalent among African American dock workers.

Re: Casino Dominoes
The last two times I was in the Plaza I quickly walked through and went elsewhere. It looks like the weekend home base for the So Cal gangs on Friday night or Saturday.
The Plaza is the only place I feel I've received unwarrented heat the past few years. After tossing 4 times into the left high hook the pit boss told me I had to toss straight down the middle. May have been because all four rolls were a 10 but I believe part of it was because I was the only Gringo in sight including the employees at the time.
