Re: Roulette - Heavy's Sit-Down Game of Choice
Typically I wait for an even money bet to lose 3 or more times in a row and then run a 3 step martingale on that bet. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
If a 0 or 00 rolls I bet red or black on the next roll whichever is the one next to the green number that just rolled. That seems to work when the balls have been recently replaced on the machine but I don't have enough data to make any conclusions.
The longer the ball or balls have been in play the more they bounce around when they hit the diamonds. I know that one for sure since I know when they were last changed on a local machine and I've been watching what happens over time. I'm assuming they wear down and get nicks over time since they are some sort of porcelain material.
Recently replaced balls will hit a diamond and most of the time drop almost straight down into a slot. This is when you want to attempt wheel tracking or bet on repeaters.

Re: Roulette - Heavy's Sit-Down Game of Choice
Have only played roulette a few times. Never thought about them replacing the ball in roulette. But of course they do! Silly me! Do you all know if they do this on a schedule like they do with dice?

Ordinarily I would not send you guys to another website that is actually a portal to on-line casinos, but from time to time you'll find some relevant articles on those sites. That's the case in this one. I've actually witnessed shift change ball changes at roulette, where the pit brings in three new balls at shift change, gathers up the old ones and replaces them. The interesting thing to note is that the marbles may be of different sizes, made of different materials, and of different hardnesses. Read the article at this link and your eyes will be opened. Particularly when they get to things like dealers "aiming" the marble and "short spins." http://www.casinonewsdaily.com/roulette ... all-speed/

Who knew that much about what dealers did with their balls?

Re: Roulette - Heavy's Sit-Down Game of Choice
I have used Xploitation on the air ride game a couple session and have walked away a winner but my problem with it is that the game is to slow. I played a couple thousand spins with it at a online casino and the first thousand or so spins I was winning at a high percentage, but it took a steep dive and it never got back up to be profitable before I stopped.heavy wrote: ↑Mon Sep 17, 2018 11:36 am I should add to my last post that the air ball roulette games (mfg. by Interblock) are all linked on-line to some off-site computer in the sky - AND - they are quite subject to streaking and clumping. The best tool on that machine is the decision history, which is displayed on the board. The best tool you can have is what I call a "flattened wheel" tracking sheet. There are dozens of versions available on-line for anyone with a little experience with Google, but I'll send you to this one, which is very similar to the tracking sheet we provide in Xploitation Roulette:
https://www.roulettephysics.com/wp-cont ... iasin4.jpg
Although that website, roulettephysics.com, is primarily concerned with demonstrating wheel bias, I consider "machine bias" to be essentially the same thing on the air ball machines. Hence the clumping and streaking.
Soooo, now that I've given away a significant portion of Xploitation Roulette I expect to hear tales about how some of you are beating the game.

Oh, the perils of on-line casinos. I feel your pain. Unfortunately, you are playing a game with an invisible marble. Supposedly a RNG involved but I really don't trust the on line casinos. I'd also strongly recommend you implement the old standard "lose three in a row and it's time to go" rule." Thanks for the heads up.

Anyone have a decent set of spins to test against? I've got a set of 100k, but I'm looking for someone to double-check some of my work. Let me know, thanks.

Yeah I did find it strange that I went that long with consistent results to not winning hardly any bets at all. It was a reputable casino that I believe is regulated so I don't think there was cheating involved. I have never tried using xploitation roulette on a live dealer game and they do offer that at one online site. I would also like to say that I don't recommend anyone playing online as it is a legal grey area and each state has different rules on it. I don't want to see anybody getting in trouble.heavy wrote: ↑Fri Sep 28, 2018 10:28 am Oh, the perils of on-line casinos. I feel your pain. Yeah, the thing is online especially, you aren't supposed to be winning long term. Have fun by all means, but don't waste you time trying to beat a random negative expectation game over thousands of spins - it simply isn't happening.

I figure this one from Wizard of Odds is about as good as any: https://wizardofodds.com/games/roulette/simulation/

Heavy,
I have seen a few posts of yours saying that you use Xploitation Roulette on the air ride game, I'm wondering if you have tried it with a regular roulette game with a dealer and how does it compare to a RNG. One other question I have is there's a electronic roulette game that I think is fairly new as my local casino just got it. It's called Lightning Launch Roulette and its all digital, the rules are the same as normal roulette except there is a bonus side bet. I'll post a link to the description below. I'm wondering if Xploitation could be used separately on the bonus bet, something to think about.

FYI: The payouts are higher at the casino I saw it at as 4 balls pays 25,000:1 not sure about 1,2,or 3 balls.

Re: Roulette - Heavy's Sit-Down Game of Choice
Years ago before the ban on US online gambling, I had a few bucks and went to CASINOMEISTER's site to determine which were the most honest online gambling sites. Finding one I thought was good, I deposited a couple hundred bucks and began to play craps. And I won. My $200 went to $1500 playing back and forth dark and right. I took out $1200 and kept it up. Won again..another $1000. I took out another check leaving $500. Jacked up my bets. And I started to lose. No matter what I bet, the opposite resolution happened. I began to feel that between making my bet and getting the game going, an electronic monitor caused the bet to lose. Maybe just paranoia, right? I made 6 minimum DP bets and was nailed on everyone either by a 7 or an 11. If I Layed a 10 for $41..Maybe one roll would go by and 10 would hit! It was unbelievable. So I pulled out the money I had left and that was the last time I ever played online.
Re: Roulette - Heavy's Sit-Down Game of Choice
I agree. Roulette is not a beatable game unless you find a mechanical or digital anomaly you can exploit. I only play it to burn up free play and as a time eater if the machine is in a place where I can watch my target games for the spot I want to open up.London Shooter wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 1:42 am Yeah, the thing is online especially, you aren't supposed to be winning long term. With that being said the machine here rolled 3 red 23's in a row last night. I was on Black and even numbers. lol.

Re: Roulette - Heavy's Sit-Down Game of Choice
Xploitation won the first five betting rounds on this sim, I wish there was a program for roulette like there's is wincraps for craps. Where i could set when to bet and how much and then have it spin randomly give me the amount of spins I want.heavy wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 7:46 am I figure this one from Wizard of Odds is about as good as any: https://wizardofodds.com/games/roulette/simulation/

Re: Roulette - Heavy's Sit-Down Game of Choice
Xploitation won me more bets than I lost. Without giving away to much detail it won what I call betting rounds 94-40.The flaw was my betting as i needed to have 2 wins to recover from one loss and I was frustrated that I wasn’t winning more for as high as my win percentage was and the amount of time played so I would increase bets on a win instead of flat betting. I plan on going over the numbers more and swing if there is a more efficient way of betting.London Shooter wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 1:42 am Yeah, the thing is online especially, you aren't supposed to be winning long term.
