Aruze Gaming America Announces Approval for Shoot to Win Craps(TM) in Nevada
Aruze Gaming America, a rising supplier of global gaming entertainment, announced today that its multiplayer G-STATION(TM) game, Shoot to Win Craps, has received approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Shoot to Win Craps, the first electro-mechanical Craps game approved in Nevada, allows players to shoot the dice through an innovative Bash Button(TM) while betting as if it is a live table game.
"Aruze Gaming partnered with New York-New York Hotel & Casino for the Shoot to Win Craps field trial and we are thrilled with the results," said Steve Walther, vice president of Marketing for Aruze Gaming America. "The game continues to perform strong and the player feedback is very positive."
Shoot to Win Craps comes with an intuitive touch screen betting interface that allows players to place bets in the familiar dice game layout while offering the convenience of repeating bets and the ease of moving credits on and off the board. Built into the game is a comprehensive guide of how to play Craps which makes the game ideal for beginners. For the advanced players, more complex bets like 'lay' and 'place' are available for wagering. The touch screen interface allows for a greater speed of play both for betting and shooting the dice.
Mike DeJong, vice president of Slot Operations at New York-New York, said, "The games performed well during the 30-day trial, players enjoy them and the games create a tremendous amount of excitement. We look forward to the games remaining on our floor."
Shoot to Win Craps also features a high-impact sign package designed to be easily seen throughout the casino. The overhead signage includes LCD screens which prominently display game results and also provide a tutorial for beginners and roll streaks for advanced players. The game's center features a large dice cage which is illuminated and fully synchronized with the game's action.

Well, they're not real dice - they're e-dice - and you can't really touch them. I doubt that this game will replace any tables, but it would not surprise me to see a lot of the Indian joints adopting this mode of play.

Yo, Kindred 25-Watt Meat-Eating Generators........
I love RNG dice machines. Until recently, we had a ShuffleMaster Rapid-Craps machine at our local Table Mt. Indian Casino.
I had an ETA for when it was going to be freight-truck arriving, at the Casino, and they called me when it arrived.
I would drive the 70 miles into the S. Nevada Mts. to play the computer's RNG, several times a week.
Damn !...... they pulled it off the Casino floor after may be 90 days on the floor. ShuffleMaster must given the Indian Casino a " Trial " test-run ?
I would record the SM machine's craps rolls next to my real craps numbers, from Nevada and looking at both sets of recorded rolls .....
I COULD NOT TELL WHAT NUMBERS WERE COMPUTER-GENERATED & WHAT NUMBERS WERE HUMAN-ROLLED !NUMBERS !
The bottom line: Can the RNG's off the craps machines computer..... be beaten ?
Yes...... I think they can be beaten.
A while ago, our local Indian Casino had a 25 Year promo. on the 25th of each Month.
If you bought-in for a min. of $ 100.00 you were given a scratch-off with goodies under the foil on each ticket.
Most tickets were for a min. of +$25.00. The ticket $$$ would be loaded into your players account.....so..... you had to play it through a slot machine, at least once, to get real $$$.
Well, I never caught on how to exploit this promo..... until the last Month, it was offered.
I bought in for $2,000.00 at the $5.00 min. BJ table and I played BJ for a few min. before I colored-up.
Presto ! ....20 scratch-off tickets appeared.
I did this 4 times, for 80 tickets, on the last night the promo. They generated + $4,200.00 in play-through players card credits. I hit one card for + $2,500.00 !
So..........I went home and played BJ on my computer. I came up with a neg. progression ( loosely based on Silverthorne's Neural Gaming System ) that I thought might beat the computer's RNG found in Game King's $1.00 to $10.00 ( max. bet ) BJ machines.
The progression was meant to suck-out small amounts of cash, over and over from the $4,200.00 account.
My home computer, using the RNG from Harraha's " Play for Fun " online BJ game, seemed to generate low-risk $$$ using this neg. ( $10.00 max. bet ) progression :
1-1-1...2-2-2...3-3-3...4-4-4...6-6-6...8-8...10-10-10. A 20-step progression was born.....
Back to the Casino....insert player's card.....extract $$$$ ! I would shoot for a + $100.00 withdrawal, on each trip.
Man O' Man ........it took time to get all but $150.00 out of my account ! That was OK'... cause... I'm retired !
I have faith that the above progression could turn these new ... " Shoot-To- Win " Mechanical Craps Machines, into our daily ATM's.................U - think ?
Thoughts ?

Re: Shoot To Win-Mechanical Craps
The dice used in this game are actual 'physical' dice, not e-dice; so there's no RNG involved. The dice are under a glass dome on a vibrating plate which the 'shooter' activates by pushing a 'roll' button.
This game is generating a lot of off-board discussion between several players who have already experimented around with 'timing' the dice-popping feature.
Several report that there are ways to 'game' the outcome by waiting for certain up-faces to appear on the vibro-plate, and then 'popping' them to flip over to the exact two-die opposite.

Does anyone know where the Shoot To Win machine or Interblock Organic Craps are located in the midwest or Mississippi.

That voice . . . that voice . . . .
That's why I never allowed my kids to listen to Disney Radio. That voice . . .
Perhaps we should make a point of pouring a drink in the bill changer every time you pass one of these machines.

I saw this at the Red Rock in Vegas when I was there. Every seat filled on a Sunday afternoon. Lady "rolled" 10 (4-6) three straight times. Pretty crazy. Definitely looks like bounces are semi-consistent.

Re: Shoot To Win-Mechanical Craps
Hi Riggs and W7,
Essentially, what a couple of advantage-play guys in Vegas did (starting a little over a year ago); was to 'clock' the vibro-plate/pop-button relationship on all of those machines.
That is, they'd wait for the vibro-plate to do it's mini-roll thing (where each die was rolling from face to face as the 'shooter' was being urged to "Push the button"); then, when an amenable pair of up-faces showed, they would push the button to pop the dice.
The idea being that the pop of the dice produced a face-predictable outcome if the dice were located on certain sectors of the vibro-plate when the 'pop' button was pushed.
They apparently came to that conclusion from watching and clocking 1000's of 'rolls' made by unassociated players. They also found that you could (on some machines) activate the 'pop' button concurrent with the start of the vibro-plate's initiation (thereby letting you 'use' the previous roll's up-faces to your advantage before the vibro-plate had a chance to move them off of that pre-set).
They also notice a marked difference from game to game as to the popping-force of each vibro-plate. Some speculated that those differences might be due to mechanical-wear on the popping-mechanism itself, while other speculated that it might be a technician-settable parameter.
Additionally, they noted that there were varying amount of vibro-to-pop-button activation time-lag from machine to machine. With some machines activating the vibro-plate a second or two before the pop-button self-armed, while on others it was concurrent or almost concurrent (thereby making it more beatable).
Yes, those A-P guys in Vegas are very serious about their work.
On top of all that, since it was set up like a slot-machine; comp-credits accrued much faster than they would at a conventional craps table...and the number of rolls per hour was highly-predictable (where the between-rolls delay is set by each casino).
I hope you find that helpful.
You would think that some of our members who actually live in Vegas would report on stuff like this. Apparently that is not to be.

Re: Shoot To Win-Mechanical Craps
I have had success by charting both of the machines I mentioned in the earlier post. That is why I would like to get locations east of the Rockies , thanks for any help.

Hey Tricky
The MGM properties were the first to install the Shoot To Win Craps so I would check out those locations if there are any near you. Recently, Harrahs properties have installed the machine in Vegas. I was there last weekend and saw Shoot To Win at Caesars, Ballys, Flamingo, and Paris. Good luck Tricky.
In terms of tracking, I have heard many players who play The Method have great success with Shoot To Win Craps.

If Jerry Patterson had not retired we'd have already seen a betting system for sale that overcame the edge on this game and offered a money back guarantee.

2way10.
What you saw at the Orleans was the "Replay" bet. HA on it according to the Wizard of Odds is almost 25%.

Re: Shoot To Win-Mechanical Craps
Saw that mechanical craps game at New York/New York back in January -- agree with 2way10's second point: button hit doesn't seem to make a difference. Novices like it because because they don't have to talk to a dealer. That "voice" is maddening . . . .
Re: Shoot To Win-Mechanical Craps
I know this is a old thread but I was looking through the promotions that all the Tunica casino's are offering and Hollywood has posted that they now have this game. I haven't played this one but I took the mechanical machine at Goldstrike for a pretty good payout my last Tunica trip playing the don'ts. I would have made a lot more off of the machine at GS but I started noticing what I thought was a trend in the field bet and I started betting the field and it ate my lunch on that. If I make it over to hollywood this trip I may have to try a hand or two.
Re: Shoot To Win-Mechanical Craps
We played this at the Flamingo in January of this year. Lost at first but as we got a "feel" for when to hit the button results got better and we had some long rolls and moved into profit. The funniest thing was when a guy next to us was explaining to a friend how to bet and accidentally put $25 on yo instead of $1 just at the betting window timed out and he was locked in. He was cursing. Then my son who was shooting rolled 11 and he won $375. He tipped us $20 for that roll. The voice is annoying but after a while you learn to tune it out. It's a $3 minimum so we could buy in for $20 and play for a while, sometimes cashing out for $200 or so. I saw one long hand in the 30s and several people made over $1000. That's a nice ticket to put in the cash out machine...
I wanna see the dust...
