Mini Baccarat Tourneyment's

Believe it or not, craps is not the only game in the casino. Savvy players have a back-up plan for when their craps game is off. If Heavy isn't winning at Craps you're likely to find him playing Baccarat, Blackjack, or even Roulette. If the table games aren't working out he may even take a cigar break in the high limit slot area for a little hit-and-run action. But just like craps - you have to plan your play and play your plan. If you have a question on slots, video poker, carnival games or any table games other than craps, this is the place to post. Let's hear about the games you play when you're not playing craps! What's your game? What's your strategy? How's that working out for you? Inquiring minds want to know!

Man oh man would I LOVE that here!

Suggestion?

Build a strong/hefty negative progression and do "Target Betting" on BOTH Banker and Player, as long as the shoe isn't doing the BPBPBP singles flop...

The initial mailer "announcement " fell a little short of fully explaining the "tournament".

Now feel it is a bit gimmicky .....

It turns out to be a "drawing" of some sort the staff and host struggled to comprehend

Player must have minimum $25 bet in action when a natural 9 wins your hand...
Then drawings held at
7;00 P M...8:00 P M ...9:00 P m...10:00 P M...11:00 P M (SKIP 12:00 Midnight )...1:00 A M

then some portion of the purse may be distributed,to someone somehow to amount to ? something? they think...
.........
Have decided i'll take a pass as Tuesday is the evening I usually:

roll up the garden hose
or
sort my sock draw
or
count my great grand children
or
write the great American novel

or
watch Public Broadcasting System.
or
table hop at some other casino....

Bottom line , should I elect to play Mini Bac,
I'll just arrive & leave on a schedule of my choosing..
Strong likelihood some house
sans
the phony baloney "tournament"

Do not know why they killed a tree ,
and
clogged the U S P S to broadside that "announcement "

just me saying

Northwood in Iowa had a month long "hot shooter" craps tournament last year where you got an entry into the drawing if you had a roll that was 20 or longer. We stopped there on a trip to Minneapolis and I picked up a couple entry tickets.

Since they are too far away from home, I didn't bother to put my entries in.

The probability of the occurrence of a Natural Nine is in the mind of me a transitory /moving target...

Eight decks of cards make up 416 cards...( 52 X 8 = 416 )

The casino rules have the cards stuffed into the 8 deck shoe...
....AFTER....
THE CUT....and BURN of a number of cards removed by CASINO Pit PROCEDURE
.
FOLLOWING

a cut usually by a randomly selected PLAYER....

ALSO

an unknown number of cards are removed from play by
THE FINAL HAND CARDS HELD IN RESERVE BY The Dealer.....

just to keep the game HONEST and graceful.....to the final dealt card....

With all that preambling

the potential of predicting drawing a natural nine or eight or seven
with some predicative precision
seems REMOTE

with difficulty approaching that of shifting sand......

Perhaps someone has maintained a large number of recorded past hands.....

My focus leans toward maintaining a running account of MY INTEREST ( U S D $ at risk)
I just total the ups & downs based on U S D $ Buy In and U S D $ cash out....

Have seen some 9 Natural ....HOWEVER FACTOR...
..have not kept of the percentages vs potential probabilities...

( if such is even worth knowing )
Could be of some entertainment value to toss out a probability number

just me saying

..
The W o O is a strong place to start
Thank you for the suggestion....

Stay around the Baccarat table and perhaps several Natural Nine hands will show...sometime...perhaps

A fella could win twice if on that wager with the proper USD $ amount in action
when the Natural 9 is revealed...............

Win on the Natural 9 as per rules of the game

P L U S
some BONUS USD $ amount ( unknown until awarded )
just for being in the right place at the right time.....

Sounds simple enough

What a rip off wc!

Checked 50 random live played shoes, averaging 75 hands/results each. Natural 9s happened on average just under 8 each per shoe on Banker and 6 each per shoe on Player. That's about 10% of the time for Banker and 8% for Player. I threw out ALL Tie results from the equation.

It was a little better than twice those amounts if you counted Natural 8s as well. May not be relevant to their BS promo.

Thank you for maintaining the extensive actual real time history
and
sorting out the actual NATURALS from your historical experiences...

Even more-so
interesting to compare the potential Naturals showing Vs The Tie Line.....

Always handy when the REALITIES of the game are made known
and
compare the Taking Greater Risk percentages ( Time & $ USD at RISK of LOSS )

Promotions, contests,tournaments ,entertainment
and
the of complementary stuff
I M O
are a carrot to DRAW A CROWD....
House Advantage is only a factor when the player plays.
