Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

Chill fellas!
. Everyone is trying to assist others in preparing for the GC visit in a few weeks. And that's a good thing.
The simple way to look at it for players not familiar with buy bets in MS is there are automatic buy bets at $20. Therefore you want an even $ bet for the 5&9 starting at $20.
For example, for the 5/9, it is more favorable to have a $36 bet compared to one for $35.
Thanks Scout!
What is the vig/What are the breakpoints when it comes to paying the vig on the auto buy 5&9? I imagine $1 at $20? $2 at ? $5 at ?
Also, vig paid up front or at payout? (I can't remember).

The vig on 5/9 is 5%, just like on the 4/10. In MS the vig on a buy bet is paid on the back end. In MS the 4 and 10 are also auto buys starting at the $20 level.

So as 22inside requested, would one of you guys give us specific break points for the breakage. I realize it's 5%, but some casinos will let you push the four and ten to $30 or as high as $39 before charging the extra buck. How's it shake down on the five and nine - and not just for the first break points. Take it all the way up to - oh, say $500. Anybody up to that task?

Well $1 vig definitely goes to $35 on the four. I’ve seen them pay $50 on a $34 nine, so that’s $1 also. Just don’t have a bet amount ending in an odd number for 5/9’s over a $20 bet level. You will get hosed. Or as Heavy says, “Don’t be a dick”
