This wager was submitted long ago by another APC Board Member.....
My first impulse was to just flip it off as a foolish use of my treasury
then after experiencing several Pecker Wood dice fingers
I thought there ARE occasions
when combining
The HOP 7 three ways
PLUS
a HORN a wager
( suggest .....Table Minimum values )
that shows Positive Return
which translates to avoiding a draw down of Buy In
while attempting to establishing a Pass Line Number.....
Prior to placing it in a Live Craps Table Action experience
compare it against
some large number of recorded tosses .
THEN in live casino play
When you observe a series of
alternating
extended number of Come Out 7's and Horn #'s
you may get to chuckle while expanding your hold in the rack
when giving this a go.
just me saying

Hop 7's + HORN Wager ?

I'm good with just a $5 World bet - maybe with an extra buck on the ace-deuce. But there used to be a doctor who played in Shreveport all the time whose standard play was a $25 World bet plus $15 hopping reds.

Interesting thought. But why world? Just $20 horn and 7’s hop for $15. I would use 3’s kiss set. 65 on top, 56 facing. Primary face hit or single pitch. Six horn numbers and four sevens out of 16 on axis results.

I would say it would all depend on what you are trying for. To make money on the 7s, then I guess hopping would work. If you have a passline, you already are going to win on a 7. I am with heavy, If you just throw an extra $5 on your horn bet, and make it $25 world bet, you have $10 less at risk on the table, your horn bet is protected by the any 7 should it show. If you are playing the don't and have less than $15 then I would only hedge it with a buck each on the hop seven, or just play 3 on the any 7. Adjust as needed to match your line bet. I used to only play the horn on the come out to lose $4 on a $5 table minimum passline bet when the 7 rolled. Can't get too rich on a buck profit. But a world bet protects the horn bet for the 7 and if someone rolls ten 7s on the comeout, that world bet is just sitting there pretty and protected.

Heavy , was that doctor a winner playing that way.?
House of orange - on Sunday i will test what you posted.
You said you will get 6 horn numbers AND 4 sevens out of 16 results, if you set the following dice set
6/5 facing up AND 5/6 facing you.

Correct Jaime.
Fishing Goddess: I am just thinking the world is a waste, you are not getting the same odds as hop 7’s, that is all, just questioning the doctors strategy. But in line with your thinking about already getting paid on the seven, I would hedge the hedges with a linebet that covers the horn!
