Can't lay a $30 no four
Am I messing up or do casinos not allow a $31 lay?
Re: Can't lay a $30 no four
Depends on the location. Some might have a minimum of $41 no 4. Others will happily book it for you.

There are casinos that will let you lay the four for $11 if you're suffering from dementia and are willing to bet it. I wouldn't bet it for less than $41. My preferred Lay on the four and ten is $51. As a long run player it should be more about minimizing the house edge as opposed to minimizing the short run bankroll exposure. On a short bankroll - I get it. It's just not a smart play.

I like the Scarlet Pearl not charging vig up front. Wonder how many others allow this. Fairly certain they would allow $30 lay.

Re: Can't lay a $30 no four
We saw a guy doing $10 lays on the numbers at M during one of our class sessions; including $12 lays on the 6 & 8. He still got charged the $1 vig on each lay. It was weird to watch. So when he laid $64 across, it cost him $6. There was a horn, then a come-out seven won him $32; so betting $70 to win $32, less the $6, net $26. Unfortunately 22Inside (I think it was you, or maybe BD) then proceeded to hit every number and a few repeaters. He didn't replace, nor did he pull down after getting knocked. I asked one of the dealers about it and they said he's in there every month, with that play. Its a lot of Vig for $26; as Heavy's $51 no four/ten play above costs you less for the same potential.
