When was the last time you played and how did you do?
Simple non-judgemental question for you guys. I'd like to know about your last live casino session. How long ago was it? Where did you play? What was your approach (betting strategy)? Did you win or lose? How much?
I'm just trying to figure out if this thing is working for you guys. Give me some input.

Re: When was the last time you played and how did you do?
I played yesterday afternoon (the 5th) at the Hollywood casino in Aurora. I went there hoping they had a $5 game but all they had were 2 $10 table which was OK with me. I win more that way and I'm more careful on how I bet. My approach was to just bet when I had the dice. The table was only half filled so that worked out OK. My betting was placing the 6 and 8 for $12 using a $200 bankroll. I would take 3 hits and then down. I was using a permutation of the cross 6's so every once in a while when the field numbers started coming up I would throw in a $10 or $15 field bet.
I was never down yesterday which was nice. I have won 2 out of 2 times this month so far ( up for the month +$127 so far). I have been playing by myself. I only bet when I have the dice and I haven't been playing more then 2 hours. When I play to long I get tired and start losing. It's early in the month yet so I'll see how things go.
It didn't take long and I was up +$71 and then when I got the dice the next time I went point, number and 7-out. so I had to work my way back up again. I got back up to +$75. I could have stayed because the table wasn't crowded but I needed some food in me so I colored up and went home and had dinner.
Playing this way seems to be working. I want to get my bankroll to grow a little larger.

Re: When was the last time you played and how did you do?
My last trip ended at ameristar. I believe my last 8/10 trip were profit with a loss of 21$ and 85$. My winngins have ranged from 35$ to 180ish. I never bet 4/10 and always bet two way hard 6/8 when I throw.
My come out I put 5$ on pass. If point is 4 or 10 I do single odds. I jame the 6/8 with 18$ and 5/9 with 10$ first hit I come down on 5/9 no matter wha hit. I wait for 6/8 and I press one unit on both. I wait until I hit twice again and than down to 12$ on each. I continue in a pattern like that and sometimes I come completely off. This all depends on dice and how I am throwing. If I am getting lucky and coming off axis but hitting I keep bets low. If I fell I found a good spot I keep the aggression.
I will hoe ever place 5/9 again if I feel one die is rotating and I'm hitting those. But usually for one hit and regress. I typically keep the 6/8 hot while I throw the 3v set.

If I don't have dice m stargety is 22$ inside twice and down on 5/9 if I hit twice again I press a unit on 6/8. If I'm up in profit and table is jumping I place 44$ inside first hit down to 5$ 5/9 second hit off on 5/9. All depends on table rhythm.
Re: When was the last time you played and how did you do?
Just thinking about one of our former members who used to chart for hours, then he'd toss out something like $22K inside for one hit for $7000 and down.

Re: When was the last time you played and how did you do?
Got an invite for tickets to see the Eagles (MGM) and free nights at MC. Wife couldn't come so brought my father. The Eagles were great by the way...I thought they may come out in walkers and such..No way. Two and a half hours of solid hits, one after the other...I forgot how large a body of work those guys put out. Well worth seeing.
Most my time was at MC, Bellagio, and Cosmopolitan.
Zero heat. With rare exception..No snide remarks. No rolling of the eyes. No back wall warnings. Nothing but friendliness, supportive talk, and professionalism. I have always been treated well at these places, but they were proactive in their friendly attitudes.
One morning one of the box personnel cleared his throat and called me by name...
Memo,,I, er, ah (he was clearly uncomfortable.) I have to ask you, well, I need for you to not let your hand go so far across the prop area.
He surprised me with this. I stopped, said sure, I can do that. Moved to my left. Table was open so no problem scooting over. Problem solved...I do not really consider this heat.
A little later in the morning, he once again called me by name, and in the same almost apologetic manor said that thing were getting busy and he had to ask me to speed up play...This did surprise me since I think I am pretty fast with the dice. I thought to myself, well maybe I am getting a bit lazy since I had had the table pretty much to myself.
Once again, I do not really consider this heat. He was perfectly within his rights to run his game, and very careful to be cordial in the request.
However, I soon moved tables, not because of him as it may have looked, but because...He was right, the table was filling up and another was wide open. It is what I do.
What this is all leading to without a lot of other drawn out detail is that the table games supervisor stopped me in all places, but the restroom to apologize about the boxman. I was genuinely at a loss for words, especially since I was never really offended. We discussed it a bit, and I got back to the tables.
Some one..possibly a crew member had to bring this up to the TGS. He was not anywhere around when the incidents happened. Tipping that I do, has its merits, but this was extrodinary.
Oh, I guess what you are really asking for is a kind of mini trip report.
I started out with six winning sessions. I was way up. Then it turned around and did exactly the opposite. At one point, I had a table to myself. One that I had been doing very well on previously, I had four PSO’s in a row. I asked if they minded if I changed sides. So I moved to stick right. I made one box number and out. Then,PSO, PSO, PSO.
I cried uncle! The Boxman said (Not sarcastically) Man, you are really consistant.
The stick man and I were discussing it. He suggested the dark side…In retrospect, I wish I had heeded his advice, just to see.
What is wrong with a don’t pass and one or two don’t come..
It is galling to go against what I am setting for, but when I get on these jags... Even in practice, there is no end to the short hands. It seems that the more I concentrate, the worse it gets. It certainly does not get better. There is influence going on, those PSO’s are not happening because the universe is short some sevens.
On the last day, things began to return. I could feel the confidence returning. My hands were consistently better, culminating with two back to back long hands that brought me back. A host told me that they had me down as loosing 245 dollars over all. That is not exactly true, but I would rather have them record me in negative territory.

Re: When was the last time you played and how did you do?
I just got back from a trip to SP/Bs La (5/15-16)There are 4 casinos I play but of late the Shoe has not been very kind. Have had some good rolls there but not the last three trips. Will probably forgo playing there for a while. Tuesday was a disaster for most shooters including me.
. I got down about 200.00 for the day . Did not win at any casino. When I start out down it really plays on my mind I try to get back even and then worry about winning. (right or wrong this is what i do and I do not try to get it all back at once.)
Wed... I was rested and the tables made a 180 degree shift. I was able to get all my money back plus 250.00 I mostly play the inside nos with a regression. Sometimes I play the IC and sometimes I play the even nos. It yust depends on what my first three tosses are in a hand as to the strategy I use. Sometimes it works some times it doesnt.I guess my fa. ist when i get three insde nos in a row. I will then place the inside nos for 66.00 . Two hits and down to 44. in. Two hits and down to 22 in. 3hits and I start pressing everyother hit I wont bore you with the other strategies.
Thursday On the way to leaving I stopped by the Shoe and bought in for a mere 100. i lost 75.00 pretty quickly so i hit the road up 175 for the trip.

Re: When was the last time you played and how did you do?
It won't be too much longer until we have another choice in Shreveport/Bossier. There was an ad for the new Jimmy Buffet hotel and casino in Sunday's paper here locally. They should be opening in late summer, on the heels of their opening in Biloxi. Other casinos in Shreveport/Bossier are:
Horseshoe
Boomtown
Diamond Jacks
Sam's Town
El Dorado
I like the tables at the Horseshoe best, but my experiences there of late mirror rocketman's. I've had better luck at Boomtown and Sam's Town, although this tables at Sam's town are long and tall.

I agree that the tables at Sam's Town are waaaayyy too tall..........plus the suits are shitty to everyone......well at least to me. Don't play there anymore.
Re: When was the last time you played and how did you do?
Well, I have "history" at Sam's Town. I have no pit issues and am on a first name basis with several of the guys. Of course, my history there goes way back to Harrah's days - this was back when Harrah's actually cared about customer service.

Re: When was the last time you played and how did you do?
In response to memo, I think that the pressure from the pit boss was part of your problem. Right after is when you had a couple days of problems. I would have left the casino right when he told me to speed up. Most pit bosses in the casinos that I play are pretty good, but certain ones rate better and are nicer to the players. Pm me if you want to know the casinos.
Re: When was the last time you played and how did you do?
I can relate to doubletrouble.
I practiced alot from Jan-April for my Vegas trip last month. Used Bonetracker for final two weeks.
After 360 tosses, SRR 6.4; after 720 tosses 6.9 (headed in right direction !), 1080 tosses 6.1.
So I have to head to Vegas w/ a random roller strategy ? Oh well. As Popeye says, "I ams what I ams".
Not expecting much, I kept my risk low. And not much sure is what I got my first four sessions.
My fifth session was w/ Dice Coach.
Naturally he tweaked my mechanics. But mostly he reminded to PAY ATTENTION TO THE NUMBERS. If you
are repeating the same set and toss every time, you're probably going to get a pattern and/or repeaters.
And so it was. Looking for "Vegas Value" ? It's called a "Dice Coach Tune-Up Session" !!
My last four sessions all resulted in a profit, albeit small.
After 3-1/2 days and nine sessions, bank roll down 10%. But there was that one night I got my session
money mixed in w/ bar tab money. Always that one time discipline breaks down for me too.
Played mostly at Bally's. Tables seem fair and dealers let you know they appreciate your business.

Why don't craps tables have those signs like the roulette table that record numbers rolled ?

Bick,
The rapid craps at Bill's Gambling Hall actually has tote boards that show the last x (20 or so) rolls, how many rolls it's been since each hardway, and a few other stats.

It's "definitely" working for me. I can't stop short and list only my last session. I'll list the last six. Buy-in was always $400.Heavy wrote:Simple non-judgemental question for you guys. I'm just trying to figure out if this thing is working for you guys. Give me some input.
June 1. I lost $1326 spread over 4 sessions across 9 hours, I played 90 minutes on, 1 hour off, from midnight to 0900 the next day. (This was before learning about the website, axispower.com. I had given up on finding a "local" program for under $1500.) I "slugged it out" and absorbed the losses because I could afford to, though psychologically it was depressing. But I wanted to play on the table alone and figure out the table's action and how my throw worked there. Although strictly 4 separate sessions, I considered them one session with breaks because of the unique situation--a semi-"private" table. Sure, there were a couple times folks wandered up, but I never had to share the dice. I lost $119 nine times on 10 rolls on the only times I attempted a $96/98 'across' ($60/80 outside w/$18 on 6 and/or 8). That's right... I rolled point-7-out on 8 of the nine attempts I made at a regression bet. On the ninth regression, I rolled a point, 6, then 7-out. The only consolations: aside from the "regression losses" from which I never recovered that day, the extent of my losses from my usual $22/$44 inside or $27/54 across bets were a total of $226 in addition to the regressions for the whole night; that and I thought I learned an awful lot about my throw vs. the casino table's "action". But the moral is: how not to rent a table without a private lesson.
June 19. I received the Axis Power Craps DVD and watched it and read some of the betting threads here. Seeing the dice throws on the DVD as entire uncut throws was an epiphany. I'd been trying to low and slow'm to the wall from 12-18" out. My results seemed random with a very small smattering of occasional luck that would keep me 'near even' except for my regression bets.
June 22. Won $440 in 90 minutes. Heat-seeker betting system only, until I thought I'd gotten "warm" enough. Then I bet $44 inside up and out w/double PL odds. I think I'm favoring the V-2 for avoiding the seven, but I'm not getting paid for hitting the 4/10. Seems like a lot of hardways appear; mostly 4's and 8's. I actually got into one for $100.
June 23. Lost $260 in 60 minutes. same as above, but I got impatient and tried the $119 regression back-to-back. You guessed it... Point-7 out; Point-6-7 out. It's like the dice have ears. And with that, I was made a disbeliever in regression betting with my meager talents.
June 25. Won $50 in 60 minutes. Heat-seeker betting system; got warm and converted to $54 across. Lost twice though, held the dice the third time for 30 minutes. Charted another DI and bet him the same; he point-7'd. I missed out on 5 hard-8's and 3 hard-4's in the last hand because I wasn't prop betting. Six shooters passed the dice around the table back to me on the merits of my last 30-minute roll. They were eager to prop bet again. My luck didn't hold; I rolled ~9 numbers and out.
June 26. Won $525 in 110 minutes. I keep an eye on the advised target of "60 minutes and down" but I continue on "feel" when the table seemed hot; from the old adage, "never quit a hot streak". Heat-seeker betting system until I thought I'd gotten "warm" enough. Then I bet $27 across & single PL odds or $54 across w/double PL odds the one time I felt real good. Held the dice for 45 minutes. Scored on four hard-4's and three hard-8's. Again the table (7 shooters) passed the dice around to me. I bet $44 inside intending up and out to see if I still had the luck, but sevened after recovering $25 and abandoned the table.
June 27. 0530 in the morning; it's too damned early and I'm sleepy, so I ain't risking $300 (my usual loss limit), so I buy in with $100. I just wanna practice alone to see if what's been happening can be done with any repeatability. The last 4 sessions defy belief, and I just gotsta know...so all I wanna do is bet $5 Pass and roll until a decision. Table to myself for 75 minutes. After a while I have a little faith that this ain't voodoo; I chart myself as ~ 8-11 SRR for the morning (I know, it's a wide spread, but it's early). On the "merits" of the estimated SRR, I bet the heat-seeker betting system and get inconsistent results for almost 50 minutes. Up and down--plus $50, minus $40, back to plus $30 and then I hit each of the hardways over the next 6 rolls. I put $5 bets on all the hardways and hit the hard-4 twice and the hard-8 five times before I saw the seven. My presses went from $5 to $10 on the 4, and $5 to $10 to $20 to $50 to $70 before I busted out with $100 on the 8. I had $15 placed on the 4 and $60 placed on the 8 when I seven'd (in case I softed the 4/8). Oddly, I don't think I hit more than 7 extra numbers (with only one trash number) during that entire last hot run. I probably didn't lose $150 on the place bets. Won $1325.
I'm either on a really hot streak for a "week", or watching the DVD throws has helped my launch and delivery. I'm Left-off-Axis on my V-2, but I think I'll leave it alone.
I'm a believer. THANKS, Heavy!!

Re: When was the last time you played and how did you do?
Vicksburg,Mississippi
It is less than an hour from the home place.
We like the improved attitude at Ameristar Casino and the upgrade in the buffet .
Set alarm on cellular device at 45 minutes .
Elected to pass the dice
Played five shooters with I S R move one roll after the C/O did and did well .
Left table about 75 seconds after alarm.
Brunched out on the Tuscany style grilled vegetables and on caught the next thing smoking to our digs.
Trip before that
About a week ago headed over to Pearl River Resorts Mississippi. Little over hour from the barn yard.
This trip saw no one we recognized. Just played at the only open table with total strangers.
Same deal , I S R one roll post C/O roll.
I passed the dice. Bride of W C choose to take her turn at dice tossing.
Cell phone alarm set at 59 minutes ( Don't Ask)
Bell rings at about the time we have been through SEVEN shooters.
Pay our respects to the Cashier and on the road again .
In the driveway long before sunset.
The ENHANCED ALARM is about the only good use I found for the new cellular contraption.
