Re: Using Sam Grafstein`s Pensioner`s Play
just got to keep at, learned something new yesterday, the crap between my ears can show up in pratice games too, but at least I don't lose money. Ican stop when I am ahead, but damn its hard for me to stop when I am down. If the past holds true, its win lose win lose time

Funny you should mention that. I find that the crap gets between my ears more when I'm practicing.
Re: Using Sam Grafstein`s Pensioner`s Play
Using play money instead of being live could lead to that, but hey, at least we know what the crap between our ears is, others just keep doing it. in the past two years I have had to learn the same thing. this year had something new though, I felt worse when I gave back what I had won than I did when I lost all the session stake, and then some. I don't know if thats progess, I hope so. its only coin jar bankroll,

anybody run this play recently? just re-read dice doctor this morning in prep for a trip next month.
uncertain what I'll do when I have the dice but likely running with this wrong side play when I dont.

I play a don’t side play while waiting for the dice.
30.00 no 5 with a 20.00 DC
After point is established, pick up the lay and do a 15.00 DC , when that moves a 10.00 DC
All I’m doing is hedging my way out.
Good luck on your trip......

Re: Using Sam Grafstein`s Pensioner`s Play
one of the things I have practiced is if you get the first 2 up (either dp+DC or skip dp and 2 dc) then dont put the 3rd chip out there.
feel like if I even get the 3rd on, one of them gets knocked off and I'm +1 if the other 2 win. so I let the 2 ride and hope to be +2 with a 7 out.
-- can't lie that +3 feels great though so miss that
if I get knocked off on one of the 2 then I'll put that 3rd chip out there--even though the shooter beat me once.
also have not been going right back up on craps winner.. feel like that 7 or 11 always comes after so I let a roll or 2 go then put the parlay up.
alot of feeling going on in that which I know means squat.. but it makes me feel good lol

Re: Using Sam Grafstein`s Pensioner`s Play
think I found the variation that might be my comfort zone... little more constant action than sam gs play but still low rollerish
continue dp/dc until you get behind 3#s
- all the same amount
- when 2 get knocked off lay odds on the last
- if roll say 6 6 5 that would be 3 #s but sometimes may put out another dc instead of lay odds
- dont really parlay the craps winners but may occasionally
5 dp/dc 30 odds so 3/4/5 table
figure 4 betting stakes of 50.. essentially 5+5+5+30 plus extra 5 for 7/11s
