Seen too many random mega shooters on even the bouncing betty's kill it. It's bad variance yr. looking for, isn't it? The table really doesn't matter

Ya know, some times it does, IMHO. Granted anyone can light up any table as variance works both ways; however there are tables with reputations (Heavy might say histories) where the bad variance out does the good variance [I'm sure over a billion rolls it'll even out, but I can't wait that long]. While some of that is due to how the casino sets up things like underlayment and surface; and sometimes it's the shiite between our ears - nonetheless most of us when faced with the question of "tell us where you have repeatedly found a cold table?" We can readily give an answer and cite details. While it can be confirmation bias, we don't know for sure. And a DI reporting likely skews it a bit as well, as I think there are a bunch of us that know we can attack any table regardless of its rep.

For instance, I'll go play the GVR 14 footer and the majority of the times I've been there - its trending cool/cold. But then one morning at SR1, I lit it up to the tune of 30+ rolls, but if I get asked the "where's the cold table" question - its still the first one that comes to mind for me. Likewise last year Steve-O & I stood straight out at the Palms #1 and both shot from the DP and promptly sevened out just like the every shooter before us that was flinging them and we went around the table thrice with no points made. Yet, I sure someone somewhere loves that table.

Yes the di, by definition, changes things. Love the cold table, hopefully when I arrive, no one is at the table, so I can go to “work”!
