Wrong Way Rules for Play - Qualifiers!
My late system selling partner, DiceTrkkr, had a bevy of "rules" for play in various situations. In fact, most of his "Beat the Odds" system, which he sold thousands of copies of at $499, consisted LARGELY of rules for play in various situations. Rules such as "if laying a point take it down if the shooter tosses three inside numbers." He also did things to simplify making the bets he wanted to make. For example, he kept the exact dollar amount in chips he needed in three different pockets in a vest he wore when playing. $4100 to Lay the four or ten, $3100 to Lay the five or nine, or $2500 to Lay the six or eight. When he saw the indicator he was looking for he'd spring into action, pulling the correct action out of the right pocket and making his bet. He also had a strict "time limit" rule. When playing the Don'ts there was NO time limit. He never played against the clock. He played as long as it took him to achieve his win goal - then he colored up and left the casino.
My question for YOU dark side players is simple. Do you have specific "rules" for play when playing the Don'ts? Do those rules vary depending on your approach to the Don'ts. If so, give us a few examples of your play and how those rules apply. Go!

Re: Wrong Way Rules for Play - Qualifiers!
I used to play the Patrick System almost exclusively. I would only replace a DC bet twice.
Now my darkside play consists of laying the point. I would only let a shooter beat me once. I am modifying it slightly for my upcoming trip. If I get beat by the shooter coming right back with the point I will go against him one more time. If he rolls several box numbers before beating me I am done, or will switch and go with him.

Good thoughts.
re: Heavys opening post above : "...When playing the Don'ts there was NO time limit. He never played against the clock. He played as long as it took him to achieve his win goal - then he colored up and left the casino....."
Good approach as we have the advantage(and should be willing to pay a little fee for it), vs getting paid less-than- even- money with a disadvantage.
re: Donts. One of my fav plays is track a little and then Lay a laggard(small variance=low volatility). I found it helpful to review data and see how little the variance actually affects our buyin(wager size: >.01<.03%) when we have the advantage. If we already know the min/max levels it helps us emotionally during live play so we don't panic when forced to endure a short-term downturn. Because we know it will most certainly cycle back in our direction if we exercise proper bet size. All we are actually wagering on is: what order/how much clumping can we expect per a certain number of outcomes.
All the best,

I incorporated a couple of DT's methods mixed with Graham's qualifiers mostly with 10 and 4. This is only if I've determined the table
to be seven out rich. Which involves a darkside five count.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_c0h1MJy0I. He has a few videos on dice outcomes. Regarding the 10 and 4 in over 125,000 rolls, they have not appeared more than 8 times in a hand. And he also discusses pattern. I found his work interesting to a point.

Thx Thnick for your prompt reply.
Ok ,Ronald Graham , I ve heard of him but didn't realize he had all the videos. I heard he was a super nice guy that freely offers suggestions to craps enthusiasts / sells data at a reasonable price. Im not sure if his data is Live table data or includes RNG produced numbers.
Thx again,

I just pulled some nuggest from his free videos. I would never buy anything from a video sales deal. I didn't even know he sold data.
