Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

Over on YouTube there's one toober who shall remain nameless who has at least a half-dozen different "world's best" or "world's greatest" craps betting strategy videos posted - each with a different betting strategy. How the hell does that work? One of them is somewhat familiar. It starts with a minimum pass line bet and a place bet on the six and eight plus a field bet (all at table minimum). All Field wins are used to place the remaining box numbers (4, 5, 9, 10) until all numbers are covered, then the player collects on every hit until his initial outlay ($22 in a $5 game) is recouped. Then the begins a take and press strategy. He never regresses. He never takes odds on his Pass Line. He parlays Pass Line wins from game to game. I watched him on a hot hand take a $10 Pass Line bet up to $50 and never take odds. He managed to win around $150 on one hand, only to see all of his profit wiped out by the seven and end up down $40 for the session. For the "World's Best" craps strategy it didn't work for shit because (1) he was a random roller, (2) he never took odds on his Pass Line bet -his point was Four three times and he never took odds on it; he made a Pass on the Four two our of three times - and (3) there was no money management element to his strategy. By the way, he said he learned this strategy from a casino dealer.
So there you go. My question to YOU. In ONE paragraph. Give me your version of the World's Greatest Craps Strategy. Bullet Points are fine. For Example:
- $15 Pass Line with Progressive Odds (2x-5x-10x) on Each Win
- Place the Six and Eight for $30 each - Collect and Press Every Other Hit for Three Hits - then Regress to Double table Minimum and repeat
- Place the Four and Ten for $15 Each - Buy for $25 on the First Hit and Stay at that level for Two Hits - then press to $50 and Press to $100 - $200 - $250 and remain at $250 for duration of hand
That's just an example. What's yours?
memo: to use the bullet point function type your first bullet point item, then highlight it and click on the bullet point icon. It will insert the word "list" in brackets before and after your bullet pointed item. You must do this for each item on your list you want bullet pointed.
"Get in, get up, and get gone."

Random shooter having shown some hits before, $10 table.
$15 five and nine, one hit. Bring down 5 and 9,throw dealer $3 and up on 6 and 8 for $12 each. You have 2 numbers working for an outlay of $3.
First hit on 6 or 8, both go to $18 each, take $2 bucks. For a total of a dollar outlay now, you are on yr. way to $42 and $50 for 1 which I will take, next hit to $90, press to $180, take $210. If I lose after the 2nd roll I'm down a buck. The opening $30 outlay is pretty easy to recover from if you get nailed early.
Alternate heat from dealers strategy and conditions generally bother me, $10 table. $10 DP, 2v set to get a 4 or 10. Any number gets $30 lay odds. Throw for sevens. I have a couple sets for that which require me to really hit the wall hard. Did this at Paris and later at Ballys for a long session where it was just me and one other player who went along with it and a wild, crazy dealer who was a don't enthusiast whooping and yelling. That was fun.

H-man, getting grumpy in your old age? Less tolerant? I believe he calls it his "Favorite Strategy" and states that it doesn't win all the time or even most of the time. You need to get outta the house bro. Gain of salt dude.
Plan your play...and...PLAY that PLAN! Not the casino's plan. Not the dealer's plan. Not the other player's plan. Not other Board members' plan. YOUR plan! Own it and do it!!!

Brings tears to the old ducts. That's how I learned to play craps..The Iron Cross at the old Circus Circus. In those days they hand one deck blackjack. The IC was a hundred dollars on the table. $30 on the 5, 6, 8..$10 on the field. You either won $25 or $10..or went home fast.
An fellow who was making a bundle at it had his own technique which he taught me. "Wait for the hot table. No sevens coming in five rolls. Every three rolls." Yes. It works now just like then.
