Betting Stategy i used last 3 days at Harrahs Cherokee
I just had success with this strategy the last 3 days. If i am not shooting wait for point to be established and wait one roll. $60 on 6&8, $35 on field, hop the 5 for $10. 2 to 3 hits and down .Little more than i am use to betting even though it worked. Yes try to avoid the 7 for 2 or 3 hits . Then i went to $42 6&8, $25 field, and hopped the 5 for $6. Worked great .Bought in for $500 and if i got up $100 to $150 i walked away. played this on the regular craps tables, the electronic one, and bubble crap machine. One session last night i had 3 seven outs. 2 before i collected anything and 1 where i collected on one hit. At $60 , you win $70 on 6&8, lose $35 on field, and lose $10 on hopping 5 for a total win of $25. I played this and tried to make $50 to $75 per shooter. You lose out on a good roll but you are collecting if you can avoid the 7 for 2 to 3 hits. One session when i collected $75 i went to $66 inside for 2 hits and down. Just thought i would share a betting strategy i listen to and tried .advdel77

I personally don’t like it. A couple early seven outs and the day is over. Also, your buyin is too low for that kind of betting. Probably should be tripled. $110 inside, 2 hits and down gets you $70 and you save $45 a shooter. Than you also lower your buyin to 1k.
But if it’s working you, don’t fix it!

That’s the quarter pounder strategy from the Hawaii craps players.

Hi advel77
Thx for posting one of your methods/results. Congrats on the 3-day winning streak utilizing an Iron-CrossISH method. I find it interesting that you have such a high ratio of 6/8 $ to F ratio with the focus on the 6/8. So maybe Im in error to suggest its an Iron Cross.
I think you will agree the main nemesis for any hedging type method resembling an iron cross is the recoup hits needed for recovery(i.e., we need 4-5 hits on avg to recoup one early-7 clipping).
I like that your approach doesnt stay out til the hand-ending seven. So your idea of activating it only for tosses 3,4,5 is understandable. Im of the belief the outcomes profile for craps is more likely to present three consecutive shooters hands reaching >=5 tosses vs one shooter tossing a 15+ hand. So I agree this method wont miss much by not being out there for the >=15 toss hands. Of course any one hand could be the one hand going for >15-20, 50.,...etc and we would be imagining how high we could have pressed our 6-8 .
Ive played similar approaches and still do occasionally when first approaching a table.
A couple similar approaches Ive had the most success had a central theme of not attempting to hedge 100% of the Field with approx 3x the F outlay often utilized. instead I try to make the F the focus and maintain a F/568 ratio in the range of ~~62%--83%.
I found more efficiency by reducing the 5-6-8 so they only "partially" offset the F replacement. So based on an example of lets say $25F (e.g., 5-6-8 @ $10,12,12 respectively or make the 5-6-8 as a function of which had been hitting greater than expectation. So if 5 and 8 were showing the most >Expectation than maybe $15-12-18 ...etc).
Another reduction method: So for example: Instead of doing a 25,30,30 on 5-6-8 with a $25F continuously I would reduce the 5-6-8 slightly that didNOT hit. So if the 8 hit then reduce the 6 and or 5 one increment(5 reduces to $20, 6 reduces to 24...etc on each 568 hit, to the end, so I didnt lose 100% of initial outlay to the hand-ending 7).
The other approach Ill mention is if the 8 is showing the most (re:568), then simply doing an 8 @ $36 along with a F @ $25. This one worked slightly better due mainly to the wager$ being focused on fewer wagers(and of course the 8/F showing the most).
Obviously there are dozens of various approaches.
IMO the main obstacle will almost always be: How do we recoup the quick-7 wipeouts.
Thanks for sharing advel77 and continued success.

I always try different systems. There seems to always be something in the way. Whether its a picked off DC or a Point 7 out. i found that if i can get 2 or 3 hits without a point 7 out on this system it works. My last session i experienced the point 7 out 2 or 3 times and walked away. I guess $96 across or $110 inside for 2 or 3 hits is probably just as good. thanks for your input. advdel77

The idea of letting at least one roll go by after the CO is a good idea before you do your thing. If the first couple of rolls line up with yr. set..well there's a positive. If not..that might be telling you something.

I’m not a big iron cross fan, though if you’re really concerned about a PSO, use the money that you’re going to bet after the second roll ($165) and lay the 10 for $150, while hopping tens for $5 + $10. Just a thought if you’re seeing PSOs.
I’d probably skip the hopping and just lay it for $100 with a $10 hard ten; then after the roll have the dealer break it down to your 5,6,8 spread. Or leave up the lay and go both ways
Use the power of the Darkside, DN8R

Your lack of faith in The Force disturbs me, Commander.......
