My Farengi associate speaks Klingon and tells me the exact translation is: "Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like bananas." Sorry 22Inside!
That's ok. The original purpose of this thread is long dead at this point. I'll probably never attempt another one of these types of "evolutionary" posts again. As I've heard from time to time, It is what it is...
So 22, how has your Betting style, plan changed? Do you have multiple betting patterns? When you toss? Randies?

Dicepops,
My betting style on myself and a handful of other known shooters is why I started this thread to track its evolution. It's detailed way way back on the first page of this thread. Other shooters that I know real well, I'll adjust to what I know about their tendencies.
As for randies, it depends. I use several different approaches depending on what their tossing looks like, but they're all very conservative if I bet on them at all. Regardless, I do qualify all of them before jumping in.

22; So it hasn't evolved since your 1st posting? Never mind. I'll go back to the beginning. Was hoping for a summary but no shortcuts for me.

This thread is not that old. I posted my current one on the first post of this thread and have been using it fairly unaltered since to wargame it. I play with little tweaks to the press schedule all the time, but the basic aspects of it are still the same. The rest of the thread is pretty much almost totally unrelated to my original post except perhaps for a few early replies on the first page.
TLDR: 110 inside, regress after 3 hits to 66 inside.

I’d hate to hijack this thread with a dice question, but here goes..... can you nutshell your qualification thinking process for randies? DN8R
Ps if you want to move this Q&A to a new thread, go for it.....

My main qualifier for randies is to wait for the first box number after setting a point. If the first box number bullfrogs the point, I then wait for the first roll after the next point is set.
One other twist to this is when I play a single 6 or 8 bet on a randy. In this case, I do a further qualification to decide which one I bet. Here I'm looking for whether the first couple of rolls are on the high or low end and use that to decide which one to bet. For example, let's say the shooter sets a 5 as the point. If his next toss is 6 or less, I'll place the 6. If the toss is 8 or higher, I'll wait for the next roll and then use that to break the tie and decide which one to bet.
