This is the way I would approach playing for a daily wage.
Since I play the Darkside, I would go at it from the Donts.
If my goal was $1000 a day , I would want a bankroll of $200,000 to $250,000.
I would make a $1000 Dont Pass wager, losing one bet per shooter, and continue making that same bet on each shooter, until I got ahead 1 unit ($1000). Then call it a day.
Most of the time the best way to reach a goal is the simple way and this way is very simple requiring no second guessing and only a stack of orange chips.
Of course you could do purple if your goal is $500 or black if the goal is $100. The bankroll requirements would be less , also.

You are, of course, talking in terms of total bankroll - not table or session bankroll. Making $100 flat bets with no odds and only one bet per shooter - I would think a $2000 buy in would be sufficient - particularly if you set a reasonable loss limit.
Here's the problem with this play. 99% of the guys on this forum would not play that way - even if they were guaranteed a win. Why? Because most of us are adrenalin junkies. We're addicted to the roller coaster ride. We're hooked on the highs and the lows. We wouldn't change the way we played if our lives depended on it. If we were completely honest with ourselves, most of us don't even want to hear about systematic methods of play that improve our chances of winning. We'd rather fly by the seat of our pants and let the casinos beat us down until we've either had enough, run out of money, or found a seat on the back row at G.A.
Am I being a little harsh there? Just give it some thought. If the shoe fits . . .

Uh, DF you really don't gamble. I am a firm believer in talking out all the gamble I can out of gambling.Dylanfreake wrote:I think we are all degenerate gamblers.
