Keep the strategy talk coming, folks. SIA- explain your methodology? Can we do a hypothetical for Sunday's action? Thanks!

SIA's strategy is simple. If it's a $5 game play a $6 Don't Pass then Place the six and eight for $6 each. Wait until all bets are resolved then do it again. Anything you do different than that is a spin off his system.

Flex, Heavy is right. Eat that elephant one bite at a time.
Now, my plays for Sunday.
$10 three teamer Miami -9 (SF), NYG -7 1/2 (Cleveland), NE -8 1/2 My thinking: Miami 6/4,SF 1/9: NYG 7/3 Cleve 0/11: NE 8/2 Jets 3/7
Mia/SF, NY/Cleve play at noon, NE/Jets play at 3:30 so if I win the first two legs, I can hedge $10 pays $85.41
Then, because I netted $15 Turkey day, added a $5 4 teamer with Denver at 7:30, again I can hedge if I win the first three legs. $5 =$76.57
I dont much like the Denver game because the teams are pretty even but Denver is at home, tough place to play
The other picks are headed for the playoffs so they are gonna tune up on these weak teams. If I were a gambler, I would probably play the money line but I do this just for fun to see If I can pick. I may add a $5 three team O/U parlay if I have time to noodle it out. Ya never know. And that is my thinking for tomorrow. Like Heavy said, this is very similar to my craps playing. Like in craps, I just want to win, the money doesn't mean much but winning is everything.

It just dawned on me that some folks may not understand the money line. The money line is based on a $100 bet but you can bet much less. Or much more.
SF +300 This means you bet $100 to win $300: NYG -$280: NE -$350: KC +$160
Mia -360 This means you bet $360 to win $100: CLE +$240: NYJ +$290: DEN -$185
The money line would have made you rich had you taken the 'Boys after the first game (lost by a point.) They don't always cover but winning 9 in a row is a bit unusual. Anyways, this is just for fun anyways. But you notice, if the Jets win S/U, you would lose the rent.

How did I do? Bottom line I lost $15 bucks. Do ya take a check?
NYG covered easily, winning 27-13 (-7 1/2)
Miami won but did not cover 31-24 (-9)
NE won but did not cover 22-17 (-9)
Did not matter on KC-DEN (-3 1/2) Worst replay reversal I have ever seen. The ball never crossed or broke the plane of the end zone, but because the receiver had a toe in the end zone, they reversed the call and gave him a TD. Tied the game with a 2 point conversion and KC kicked a FG to win. As mentioned those two teams were pretty much evenly matched (Tied after 60 minutes).
So, back to my thinking chair and see what I can do this week. Ya never know.
Even though I have two off shore accounts (+$600 & +$300) Ima still gonna bet small.

Your or me talking to a dedicated sports bettor is like a slot queen talking to a hardcore craps player. Neither has a clue what the other is talking about.
