Well, they're not real dice - they're e-dice - and you can't really touch them. I doubt that this game will replace any tables, but it would not surprise me to see a lot of the Indian joints adopting this mode of play.

I love RNG dice machines. Until recently, we had a ShuffleMaster Rapid-Craps machine at our local Table Mt. Indian Casino.

I had an ETA for when it was going to be freight-truck arriving, at the Casino, and they called me when it arrived.

I would drive the 70 miles into the S. Nevada Mts. to play the computer's RNG, several times a week.

Damn !...... they pulled it off the Casino floor after may be 90 days on the floor. ShuffleMaster must given the Indian Casino a " Trial " test-run ?

I would record the SM machine's craps rolls next to my real craps numbers, from Nevada and looking at both sets of recorded rolls .....

Yes...... I think they can be beaten.

A while ago, our local Indian Casino had a 25 Year promo. on the 25th of each Month.

If you bought-in for a min. of $ 100.00 you were given a scratch-off with goodies under the foil on each ticket.

Most tickets were for a min. of +$25.00. The ticket $$$ would be loaded into your players account.....so..... you had to play it through a slot machine, at least once, to get real $$$.

Well, I never caught on how to exploit this promo..... until the last Month, it was offered.

I bought in for $2,000.00 at the $5.00 min. BJ table and I played BJ for a few min. before I colored-up.

Presto ! ....20 scratch-off tickets appeared.

I did this 4 times, for 80 tickets, on the last night the promo. They generated + $4,200.00 in play-through players card credits. I hit one card for + $2,500.00 !

So..........I went home and played BJ on my computer. I came up with a neg. progression ( loosely based on Silverthorne's Neural Gaming System ) that I thought might beat the computer's RNG found in Game King's $1.00 to $10.00 ( max. bet ) BJ machines.

The progression was meant to suck-out small amounts of cash, over and over from the $4,200.00 account.

My home computer, using the RNG from Harraha's " Play for Fun " online BJ game, seemed to generate low-risk $$$ using this neg. ( $10.00 max. bet ) progression :

1-1-1...2-2-2...3-3-3...4-4-4...6-6-6...8-8...10-10-10. A 20-step progression was born.....

Back to the Casino....insert player's card.....extract $$$$ ! I would shoot for a + $100.00 withdrawal, on each trip.

Man O' Man ........it took time to get all but $150.00 out of my account ! That was OK'... cause... I'm retired !

I have faith that the above progression could turn these new ... " Shoot-To- Win " Mechanical Craps Machines, into our daily ATM's.................U - think ?

Perhaps we should make a point of pouring a drink in the bill changer every time you pass one of these machines.

I saw this at the Red Rock in Vegas when I was there. Every seat filled on a Sunday afternoon. Lady "rolled" 10 (4-6) three straight times. Pretty crazy. Definitely looks like bounces are semi-consistent.

I have had success by charting both of the machines I mentioned in the earlier post. That is why I would like to get locations east of the Rockies , thanks for any help.

The MGM properties were the first to install the Shoot To Win Craps so I would check out those locations if there are any near you. Recently, Harrahs properties have installed the machine in Vegas. I was there last weekend and saw Shoot To Win at Caesars, Ballys, Flamingo, and Paris. Good luck Tricky.

In terms of tracking, I have heard many players who play The Method have great success with Shoot To Win Craps.

There's also one at the LVH.

What you saw at the Orleans was the "Replay" bet. HA on it according to the Wizard of Odds is almost 25%.

Saw that mechanical craps game at New York/New York back in January -- agree with 2way10's second point: button hit doesn't seem to make a difference. Novices like it because because they don't have to talk to a dealer. That "voice" is maddening . . . .

I know this is a old thread but I was looking through the promotions that all the Tunica casino's are offering and Hollywood has posted that they now have this game. I haven't played this one but I took the mechanical machine at Goldstrike for a pretty good payout my last Tunica trip playing the don'ts. I would have made a lot more off of the machine at GS but I started noticing what I thought was a trend in the field bet and I started betting the field and it ate my lunch on that. If I make it over to hollywood this trip I may have to try a hand or two.

We played this at the Flamingo in January of this year. Lost at first but as we got a "feel" for when to hit the button results got better and we had some long rolls and moved into profit. The funniest thing was when a guy next to us was explaining to a friend how to bet and accidentally put $25 on yo instead of $1 just at the betting window timed out and he was locked in. He was cursing. Then my son who was shooting rolled 11 and he won $375. He tipped us $20 for that roll. The voice is annoying but after a while you learn to tune it out. It's a $3 minimum so we could buy in for $20 and play for a while, sometimes cashing out for $200 or so. I saw one long hand in the 30s and several people made over $1000. That's a nice ticket to put in the cash out machine...
