I have an unlimited bankroll

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

I have an unlimited bankroll

Lets say I have an unlimited bankroll and better than average DI skills. What will the average casino tolerate?

$300 6 and 8 with $200 on the Field for four rolls and down. Play there once a month.

$300 6 and 8 with $200 on the Field until 7 out play there weekly.

$1200 6 and 8 with $600 on the Field for rolls and down. Play there 5 times in a week long trip to Vegas.

$6000 6 and 8 with $3000 on the Field for four rolls and down. Play there 10 times in a week long trip to Vegas.

I am choosing this style of betting because we'd make money on almost every roll. It would be obvious to the casino due to our setting and toss that we knew what we were doing. We would be hitting the back wall every time and not giving the casino any excuses to stop our roll other than winning their money. Bets for the crew would be up. These would be hit and run sessions with only one hand of tossing each session then color up and leave until the next time. Anybody played something similar?

Thanks Little Joe.

I haven't been to Vegas but I'm guessing if the table limit is $100,000 and I bet a $30,000 6 and $30,000 8 with $15,000 in the Field for four rolls and walk off with $70,000 using a controlled toss the casino may tell me I'm not welcome there anymore. It's good to know that I'd probably be okay betting in the hundreds though.

Table limits are generally per bet - not your total action. For example, a high roller at a blackjack table with a $100K limit might be seen playing three hands at $100K per hand.

I like this game of what if.

The concept stimulates the imagination...........

If you playing an unlimited BANKROLL ,why not complete the Iron Cross
( ANYTHING BUT SEVEN ) by covering the FIVE as well as the SIX , EIGHT and THE FIELD ?

Your premiss is four rolls and DOWN.

Would you take a break and try a replay the same day perhaps another casino ?

As the shooter you also will be required to have a LINE BET
( PASS LINE or DON'T PASS LINE)
or the DO / DON'T thing since you would ahead and could leave the
Pass Line/DON'T Line for THE BOYS & Girls of the crew.

Here you get to select the amount from Table Minimum to Table Maximum .

Would you parlay your winnings and press the casino to increase the Maximum Bet?

Still for we mortals with loss limits and limited bankrolls, the possibilities stimulate
dreams of sugar plumbs and potential of THE GOOD LIFE.

Go for it fella.

I remember I did that once at the Grand Victoria in Elgin a long time ago. A $300, 6 and 8 and $200 in the field. I was not the shooter. Can you guess what happened? Of course you can, next roll was a 7-out.

Down -$800 in a blink of a eye.

WC,

I guess my topic (it was just to get peoples attention) may have mislead the readers. I don't have an unlimited bankroll. I know that if you are a random roller the casinos sometimes get nervous when you get on a hot roll if you are betting BIG. I was wondering when they get nervous if you have a controlled toss. What is their pain threshold?

Heavy and maybe some others have been approached by people willing to bankroll them. To what betting level I don't know. I would guess that some DI's have been bankrolled for big money and just choose not to talk about it. I've never been to Vegas but I know many of our members have and I was wondering what betting levels they have observed other people play that the casinos were comfortable with accepting.

The local joint I go to has/had (I haven't been there in awhile) a random roller who bets $1000-2000 each toss. He is a random roller and will win or lose $45,000 in two hours. The casino welcomes him back and he never gets hassled. I would guess that overall he is a loser.

Hi Roller,

The quick answer is: it depends.

The fuller answer, as others have mentioned, is that it all depends on the win-tolerance of each casino, and in many cases, the win-tolerance of each shift, or even each crew.

If you are looking for extremely high win-tolerances, Las Vegas might not be your first choice...or even your second. I would suggest that there are more high win-tolerance casinos that aren't in Vegas (meaning that there are quite a large number of high-tolerance casinos outside of Vegas) than there are high win-tolerance casinos in Vegas.

However, in terms of large-betting in Vegas, here's something to whet your appetite:
