Anyone here read Own Big Red by William Mouncey?
If you have a Kindle with Amazon Prime you can borrow this for free. It's a short book with a very interesting approach - I enjoyed it and learned a few things. Not sure how much I can share here but would love to discuss - seems like a solid way to play when you don't have the dice. It keeps you in the game in hopes that a long roll does occur.

I have not read it, but I just read the reviews on Amazon. 40 pages. Sounds like it covers some standard (classic) strategies, including the fibonacci. I've discussed the fibo many times here. One of my favorite approaches to the game for single bet per hand players. What else was in there?

My favorite chapter is probably his reason for writing the book. This brought back some great childhood memories for me.
The strategy itself is built around an offset doey-don't. Minimum on the DP and 2-3x the minimum on the Pass line. You can also reverse this with the prominent play being the DP. From there, you lay odds to roughly equal the higher prominent line bet. He goes into volatility a bit comparing the small loss after the come out vs an equal amount betting flat.
The Fibonacci sequence comes into play after 2 wins in a row on your choice (DP or P).
There's an interesting count he calls the 390 count to track the Bar 12 (example).
I'll see if I can get into a little more detail when I'm back at a computer (typing this on my phone)

Here's the 390 count excerpt for the Bar point:
Starting at zero when you walk up to the table, keep a running count of Come-outs in your head. Add 1 for each Natural, Craps or Point that comes up. Remember, rolls during the Point are not counted, only Come-out rolls. If the first digit reaches 3 by a Bar Point before the last 2 digits reach a number greater than 90, end the session, because you have had 3 or more Bar Points in 90 rolls (which is 2.5x36, the number of permutations on the dice). If the last 2 digits reach 90 before the first digit reaches 3, start at zero again, because you are having an average of Bar Points or better....
I love this way of tracking since it's simple to keep track in my head so I've been playing around with similar counts for the 7.
