Horse Handicapping and Craps

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

And here I thought you were going to embrace the Kelly Criterion.

Sounds like an extremely complicated way to chart. I'm doing the math in my head all the time while charting. For example, I can figure out that if we're seeing more than five sixes in every thirty six rolls then I need to be on the six. But I don't have to wait for thirty six rolls to know that. You should see a six roughly every 7.2 rolls. So if you watch six tosses of the dice and the shooter tosses something like 8 - 4 - 6 - 6 - 10 - 6 you'd BEST have some money on the six (IMHO) when it rolls the third time. In this case, I'd also have money on the four and ten, but I won't go into the "why" of that right now. You guys think on that a bit and see if you can use the same logic I applied above to come up with any ideas.
