Wynn apparently short paying on ATS bonus bet

Have been reading elsewhere that the Wynn, and now possibly the Mirage, are paying 30/1 and 150/1 for ATS bonus wins rather than 34/1 and 175/1.

Neither of these places seem to be frequented much, if at all, by our members. The Wynn especially runs only a double odds game on their lower limit tables. If I wanted restrictions like that I'd just stay in London :)

This ATS development probably puts the ATS in the realm of firebet in terms of house edge. Hopefully it won't catch on. I know it's a bad bet anyway, but it is a guilty pleasure of mine, but if this pay table catches on I am definitely out.

The house edge on the Bonus Bet (All Tall Small) is only 7%. LOL. The house edge on the Fire Bet is substantially higher. A FOUR Number Fire Bet will hit 0.88% of the time, or 1 in 113 times. A FIVE Number Fire Bet will occur 0.16% of the time, or once every 610 shooters. A SIX Number Fire Bet win will happen 0.0162% of the time, or once every 6,156 shooters. The house edge against hitting a six number Fire Bet win in excess of 21% as I recall. The Wizard of Odds runs through all of the calculations here: http://wizardofodds.com/games/craps/appendix/5/

Wynn's has been sweating the money for years, but especially since they lost a few million to a dice sliding team a couple of years back. The Mirage tables have essentially been unplayable (bounce) for years. Last time I played there - probably six years ago - only one table was marginally playable and they kept it closed the majority of the time.

Two casinos I have never played craps in, and I suspect two casinos I will not be playing at on my next trip.

Good info to have seeing as Wynn is building a casino in my backyard.
