My best win was early on in my DI wannabee career. I was using the hardways set. Bought in for $100 and colored out for $800,
It might not be much to some of you out there but for me , I go by percentages. And in that case that was a several hundred percentage win. Nothing wrong with that .
I tend to go more in terms of percentage versus dollars won when I play. I think it is more psychologically satisfying. And of course easier to rationalize.

My best win this year was a recent trip to the Horseshoe @ Bossier. It was Decembe 17th. I bought in for 2.5k and cashed out for 6673. I was playing out of the hard way set of 2,3,4,5. I rotated randomly to different numbers up but stayed in this set. I was able to hit 6points total. The five twice. I hit 5 of the 6 numbers for the fire bet. I missed having the 6 as a point. Went out on my third 5 try in a row. Had 90 up on the 6 & 8. 10 on all hard ways. 40 up on the 4 & 10, 50 on the 5 & 9 when they weren't the point. Deep in the roll I pressed my hardest to a quarter each. I was in a complete zone. The table had been very cold for some time and only three people were at the table. Secured $1250 for my fire bet of $5. My wife rolled three points right after me hitting several more hard ways for me with $25 up on each. I had the same 90 on 6 and 8. She rolls out of the hard way set too. Same as me. We shoot from just right of stick position. She shoots right hand, I throw left. We walked out with that $$$ in A$$ National.

Some of the guys may not be comfortable disclosing their best (largest) win out of fear the IRS might get hold of the information and use it against them. I had several mid-to-large four figure wins last year. That's as far back as I'd want to talk about. As for BEST wins - one of my best came after around 18 hours at the table back in the 90's. Went from around $3K down to something like a $300 winner somewhere around 4AM and pulled the plug. The old "refusing to accept a loss" gene kicked in. Those were the days when my feet and legs could stand it. These days 1.8 hours about do me in.

Eight hard Eight: Welcome aboard, nice first post. You will learn that a bunch of the board members frequent S/B., myself included although now infrequently. Keep posting, you did good.
Now, on best win? I have no idea. I am more into just beating the game. I have had many wins in the hundreds. What makes me excited is watching the board members have major successes.

Being a low roller, conservative betting type of bloke, my largest wins wouldn't be that big compared to some - but then it's all relative to your bankroll and average bet size isn't it?
Have had one win back here in London that would equate to a 4 figure amount in dollar terms. Over in the States one of my biggest craps win was on a favourite table at Bally's, immediately followed by some serious icing on the cake at the VP bar.
Here's an extract from my trip report:
I then caught possibly my longest ever roll - 700 up right off the bat back on a favourite table. Not bad when I strted with table min bets on 4/6/8 and 10. Some of you boys would have had all sorts of pressed action out there.
As is often the way the table went cold after the biggie - it cost us 100 to find this out. Net result a nice big win for us.
Oh and on the way back to the room we stopped at video poker for a couple of drinks. Slow playing on a lousy pay table machine I hit my first ever Royal

A couple of wins do stand out in my mind.
First one, after several successful wins/sessions, my last day, I was packing and going through pockets etc, I realized I still had a few matchplay coupons. Since I was already way ahead, I did not want to get sucked in and give it back. So, the plan was to just play the matchplay for the minimum and leave it at that, win/lose and not chase it. I get to the table, there's no one on it, buy in for like $100. So use the matchplay on the passline and toss bet on the firebet for myself and the dealers. I set a point and put out like a $12 6/8. Next thing you know, I've made 5 points towards the firebet and it's the comeout roll and I set the 6th number. Two tosses later, I hit the 6th point for the firebet, and the crew along with myself are stunned. I forgot to mention this was way back, when the firebet was new. After making the point, I ask, what do we do now? Can I bet the firebet again? The box guy, said no, can't bet it again, just keep tossing. A few more tosses later, seven out. None of the crew or box had ever had someone get all six, so no one knew what to do. After awhile they paid me out, and I told them, my flight was in 3 hours, so I was NOT going to be giving it back. Went to the cage, got my money and was about to walk out and the box guy was looking for me because then they realized they needed to give me a W-2G. I would come back to this casino like 2 years later, and buy in and one of the crew says, "I remember you, you hit the firebet for the dealers for like $1000"
2nd story, was at treasure island, after it was sold. TI was one of my go to places, but since the management changeover hadn't been in there since. Anyways, again it was like the last day of my trip, I was already up, so was just little nostalgic and wanted to check the place out. The table was fairly full, I'm just watching. Boy the table looks sweet. Guy is tossing from straight out, doing okay. I toss out a $12 6/8. I start noticing a pattern. So, I move one of my bets to a $10 4. I ended up pressing it up to either $2400 or $3600, I just remember the next hit I was going to table max. When the hand ended, everyone is looking at how I ended up with such a large amount on like a $100 buy in. The funny thing for me is, this was in the middle of someone else's roll, and a bunch of people were there from the beginning. The only other bets on the 4 were for like $25 or $10, so no one there had pressed their bets. Keep in mind, it took me a few rolls to see the pattern, but no one else did. Didn't even have to touch the dice on that win!

I totally agree...my BEST wins are meeting my goal objectives in terms of percentage of BR.
Otherwise, I colored up for a $500 win on a $100 buy in once. Remember that I am only about a year into this whole DI experience.

My Best Win just occurred! Xmas Eve had $50 in match play that was ready to expire. Dropped into Hollywood Charlestown.
One other regular shooter positioned at the inside hook. Bought in for $500.
Dropped $25 with $25 Match play on the PL. $10 World. Toss 11. And we were off to the races. Crossed 6's for CO and then switched to HW.
4 points, and then other shooter tossed 3 points. We passed the dice back and forth 3 times.
I am a very conservative bettor, PL with 1 or 2x odds.
Up $450 in 1 hour and 10 mins! My coffee was still hot that was sitting in my car!
Great day at the table!

Thanks for sharing!!!
My best win was for $600+ profit. Made $850 off the shooter since i was down $250 ($50 away from hitting loss limit for day)
Highlights: Hit my first 5 number fire bet with $3 on it for $750 but I layed $50 (on the 10) for the fourth number then laid $90 something on the 9 ( lost them both but I didnt care)
By this time I had already accepted the loss and goal was just to make $50 back or go broke trying. After a few quick hits I would only be down $200 which then turned to making $100 to only be down $100 which turned into Hey this guys on a heater let it ride til it dies.
Turned my $12 six and eight to $30 each and kept hitting.
It was actually the first time i had won so much money playing craps Im sure i made a few mistakes in all the excitement and probably could have made much more off the roll

Some of my best wins have been at the APC class weekends. Last year, Howard had an amazing 39 roll had at a crapless where we practically cleaned the box out of red chips, down to the bare wood before they had to reload. I walked away with a nice 4 figure win on that one. Unbelievably, Heavy immediately followed it up with another incredible hand of his own at another table. Some of us though, we sitting it out after the prior big win.
There are always a good number of excellent hands from all the class attendees at these sessions.

My best win, it was on and off on a half table with 3-4 players. I got the dice and decided I was going to martingale a dp 15-30-75-150, guess what I made 4pts in a row. So I switched to the do side. Made total 11 pts, hit lighted up the inside points fire bet and colored up lost my first 300 from the dp, bought back in for 400 and colored up 1500$, talk about turning things around. We hit 3 firebet(4pts one) in an hour that day. Having played less scared due to the loss I woulda made about 2,5k that day easy.

I returned to a table after a break, licking my wounds from a dismal session. My friend was solo at the table and coming out. I bought in for 60 bucks, made a ten dollar pass line, twenty odds, and twelve dollar six and eight...
Yeah, I should have been done for the day, but I was hanging around and the gambler in me took over.....and my buy in was ridiculous, my betting was way off since I was defensive and only used wins to add bets. I was slow to press, then bet up and out. Nothing was normal. I shoulda lost the '60' in seconds...And.... I coulda stood there with my tuma..while the longest hand I have ever witnessed went by....
When the dust cleared, I cashed out with just over 8k. The dealers were counting out over 700 in tips from the both of us...
Just in time to catch a plane. Time to go home.

I did not post a trip report from Christmas week 2016 in Vegas, cause i am new to the board and so many things happened while we were there i thought you guys would think i was making stuff up. I just came across this thread and thought i would share.
Thurs Dec 29 2016 around dinner time @ Aria i came out of the Sports book from watching the Belk Bowl which was being played in Charlotte and walked over to the pit. The low table was 25, 2 were 100 dollar tables and the other was a 50 dollar table these 4 tables are the ones backed up to the Alibi bar. I am standing at stick left on the 50 dollar table, there is a very very young Asian couple standing SO and another couple standing stick right. A man approaches to my left SO and all the dealers call him by name. He quickly speaks in Spanish to the pit boss and says de 40 mil or 40 thousand i guess he thought he would be under the radar speaking in Spanish. He then talks to them in English the rest of the time. I buy in for a huge 220 dollars thinking i would just put it inside after someone made a point, since i was leaving the next morning and i am up for the trip, i will have a little fun.
The guy on stick right starts setting the dice and using the ice tong grip, He goes on a roll for 65 minutes, i make 4k the ice tong guy colors up for 22k and my bi lingual friend at the end of the table.... plus 160k, he was bouncing his head against the table limit on all the numbers made the table limit payout on the ATS which the guy hit 2 times and almost made a third, he got paid the table limit on the 10 3 times and 2 times he got paid the max table limit on the hard 10. If i had not been apart of it i would not have believed it myself.
When he tossed the dice they went high above the brim of my visor and i am 5 10 and they would roll inside bounce all over the table, but for 65 minutes it was a heck of a show to watch, and the crazy thing is since there was only 6 of us at the table no one paid much attention to the table when we were yelling and clapping except the blond pit boss, and she looked like she could eat her clip board after the first 15 minutes.

A trip report detailed on the old board (lost forever) told of a win in Joliet when my BIL went for an hour and 20. $300 turned into just under $6K. Hit a hard 8 with $190 up on the all day and $30 or $45 on the hoppers, can't remember exactly. Best ever.
