Imagine for a moment . . .

Your name is T-Bone.
Your grew up in an urban environment.
You learned craps on the street.
You set the dice with the sixes up when you shoot and try to throw elevens and twelves.
You just sold $2000 worth of tires and rims for $200. $180 of this went into "inventory." The other $20 is your buy in at the craps table.
You cut in at the table so you'll be the second person to get the dice after buying in.
Do you bet on the next shooter or wait until it's your turn?
If you bet on the next shooter - how much of your $20 will you risk and how will you bet it?
If you wait and bet only on your own toss how will your wagers differ?
In your estimate, what is your best bet as far as winning? Note that T-Bone does not consider anything less than $200 a win with his $20 buy in.
Put on your thinking caps. What's your opinion? How have you seen T-Bone play when he was on the table with you? How do these methods differ? Inquiring minds.

The T-Bones I've seen all play the same (field bets). Put half of it ($10) on the field; press a win; after 2 wins or loss - revert back to original bet. When chip stack reaches ($80), increase original field bet to $20, and start betting on some hardways.

Interesting. So far no one has mentioned Big 6 for $5, Big 8 for $5, and $5 in the Field. First hit place the Five. Then collect on some of those triple the field bets.

I would not bet on the other player with only $20. I have to bet minimum $5 on pass/dp to shoot. That only leaves $15 to bet. With that set I would only play the field. Play some type Fib. progression if you can hit your field numbers. Try for 5 in a row and then regress. Hopefully your point is a field number so you can collect twice. If you can make your point, then bet the horn on the come out. If you can win some money then that will allow you to place the 6 & 8 to play a modified iron cross.

Only thing that stops me with field bets is TBone has only $20 bucks which means he might just be no expert at hitting
11s and 12s. How about a $13 DC with a $1 yo. Any even number gets $6 on the hardways.

Bet on myself...$5 PL, $2.50 World bet and Lay the 5 for $12
Set for the 6/5 5/6 and see how many elevens and sevens I can put together. Tossed a 7,11,7,11 the other day...up $46 and haven't even set a point yet.

Poor T-Bone. I guess he lost all of his money. No, wait! He's reaching into his pocket and pulling out two more crumpled $10 bills. More dime bag money, no doubt. He's now DOWN $20 and trying to recoup. What's his bet? What would be yours?

While not throwing and after comeout. 6$ 6, on first hit drop 5$ for 18$ total. On second hit drop to 12$ and get 12$ 8 and 10$ 9. For 34$ action and 6$ at risk. Collect next hit for 14$, press 1 unit each on next hit. Collect 21$ until you reach 60$ in your rack. Then start progression again. Now you have 80$+ in rack and you can play...for 11$ risk. Doesn't work. 9$ dp next hand.

Yeah, but this is T Bone we are talking about. He'd never do the above.
Probably do $10 6 and a $10 8 and perhaps "make them right" after the first hit.

I wish you had made this guy's street name Hard 8. Then every time one of his homies said his name at the table, he could lean over to the nearest member of the fairer sex and whisper, "it's actually more like a hard 10."
Sorry, I know this is a family-oriented site but I couldn't resist ....

I need to know what DI method T-Bone employees. Does he use the finger snapping to make the dice heel method, the short toss into the wall in front of him until the dice behave method, or the shake em and blow on em method?

I would leave the table and go out to hide my car so t-bone could not find it.

If he were to do this he'd just put it on the Big 6 Big 8 bet and hope for a hit. But his nature would not allow him to make a correct bet. Nor would he leave the bet up for long.
Give him a three red and five white when he buys in and watch him bet $6 on the Field. If that loses his next bet is $14 in the Field.
