The "We're Here for the Free Drinks" Strategy

Through the years people have purchased a ton of casino strategies for reasons of their own. This particular strategy was sold over thirty years ago for the whopping price of $19.99 and was advertised as a strategy for craps, roulette and baccarat. It promised fabulous casino complimentaries - free drinks - shows - etc. with virtually no downside risk. Some of us referred to it as the "Drunks' System" because as soon as the pit boss figured out what you were up to those shows and comped suites dried up. The strategy? It requires two to play - usually a husband and wife but it can be played with a buddy or date. Or a buddy who is your date. At the craps table one member of the "team" plays the Don'ts. The other person plays the Do's. Make those bets as large as you want - your only exposure is to the 12 craps. At baccarat one player bets Bank - the other bets Player. And at Roulette there are several bets you can go with - Red or Black, Even or Odd. You get the idea.
How much can you win with these strategies? Not a dime. In fact, your wagers are still exposed to the house edge. But it will take you hours and hours to lose a significant amount of money. Your profit for the session? All of the liquor you can drink. Of course, if you tip the cocktail server every time she brings a drink you may find that those drinks get pretty costly before the evening is done.
