Been playing a lot more blackjack lately, with a lot of success. So here's a little question for the board. Other than the Ace's, what do you think is the next powerful card in the deck? I need a explaination with the answer to get full credit!

Players who are dealt a two card TOTAL of 18
AND
draw one more card GET ATTENTION...
.
Should that 3rd card be a TWO or THREE
AND
THE PLAYER'S HAND beats the dealer's hand
THAT PLAYER MAY RECEIVE EXTRA SPECIAL ATTENTION........

Exactly WC. Exactly. I have hit 17 when the deck just was horrible..just to interrupt any BS going on. Sometimes I've gotten a 2 or 4. Seems to blow up the pit.

The deuce. Players not hitting their 12 against a dealer 2 or 3 is the second most costly mistake you can make in BlackJack.

I'm going to more or less agree with $nakeeye$. Aces and Fives. The fives are, indeed, most important to the house. But if it's important to the house it's important to the player as well.

I knew Snakeeyes would nail it. Fives for the house never bust and give pat hands.
I'll stump you onetime, just not in blackjack! Lol

I 've played BJ for 30 plus years until I got hooked on craps. But I still play some BJ. I believe the most powerful card in the deck is the UP card for the dealer. That card basically dictates your actions and in many cases forces you to draw cards until you bust.
