why not hit the easy number twice?

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

The best odds are to roll a seven, if you're a true dice influencer why not take the easy route?

All sevens set
$15 line bet
$15 red hop: hit=$75

Keep the line profit, pays for the initial hop

Parlay the $75 on the hop to make it $75 red hop
Hit #2=$400 and down sir

At one time I thought it was better to hop the 5-2, 4-3, and 6-1 for $ each than betting a $15 seven.

Is that still so today.

If it's that easy why not hop it ONCE? $10 PL bet. $300 Sevens Hop.

One thing I used to try was 6$ 3way seven, parlay to 30 & collect winner 130$ if you stay up, 160 if you come down.
Only one time I hit it 3 in a row...not very +EV. It’s still only 16,67% chance you throw a seven roll. Even being the best DI...G’luck

Very true! The $15 is a little lighter on my bankroll!

are most casinos setting hop bets max limit at 100 per number?

Most casinos will have SOME limit on prop bets. I've seen it as low as $25 on some Indian Casinos up to $5000 in some high roller pits. $500 is not an uncommon number. But many casinos seem to be of the opinion that they're willing to sit and watch a fool and his money be separated.

One thing I've recently changed in my game is pressing the pass line bet independently of the odds and trying to toss sevens on the comeout.

Last time I played I was able to get a $10 pass line bet up to $150 hit and down twice, mostly from comeout naturals.

$10-$15-$25-$40-$60-$90-$150 and down to $10 if the $150 hits.

Between comeouts, points made, and seven outs almost of third of the resolved action is on the line and I feel the majority of my money should be there. Took me way too many years to figure that out.

There will be times where a comeout craps will muck up your progression but from what I've seen so far its easier to get a string of pass line repeaters than it is to get an equal run on a box number and it adds one more chance to catch a run and win a decent amount of money.

Time will tell.

Yes, I've been parlaying my first PL win and then pressing the second one lately. $10 - $20 - $30 (locking up my original $10) and it's been working quite well. Conventional wisdom is NOT to take odds on these pressed-up bets, but I always take single odds. Example, my next press from $30 would be to $50. I'd take $50 odds behind it. $30 behind the $30. Yata yata yata.
