Craps Betting Strategy Game - New Thread

Okay, guys and gals. This is the thread we'll be playing this betting strategy game on for the next few weeks. I realize this is a long run commitment for some of you and appreciate the effort. Hopefully all of you won't bust out early. I did notice that some players felt that a $500 bankroll was too light for their betting strategy. For those of you who feel that way, I'll simply tell you what I tell people in the seminars when I discuss betting strategies. I'll talk in terms of bet sizes for the masses - e.g. a $12 six and eight. If you want to ad a zero to those numbers and play at a higher level the numbers will work just fine. So if you play a strategy with an extra zero on it in live games and are concerned that you can't play that strategy with just a $500 session stake - drop a zero off the end of your bets. You can get there. Personally, I find the challenge of playing with a smaller bankroll to be much more instructive than playing with a more forgiving amount. I don't ever want to see anyone have to get to the point that they are making "recovery stage" bets. I want you to avoid situations you would have to recover from. Just my opinion but you're stuck with it.
So, with that said, here's the game:
$500 Bankroll - no re-buys
Table limits - $10 minimum 3-4-5X odds - $5000 table max - $100 max prop bet, including hardways - Field pays double on the 2 and 12 - easy prop numbers pay 15-1 (or $16 and down) - hard prop numbers pay 30-1 (or $31 and down)
I'd like the following information on each post:
1. Current bets to include total amount on layout
2. Total left in rack
3. Total bankroll - rack plus action
4. Net win/loss as of current roll
5. Brief explanation of your strategy, what you hope will happen, and what your plans are after that.
Okay, here's an example. Let's assume it's roll 2 and the shooter just established the 9 as his point.
1. Current bets - $10 DP. Lay $30 odds. Place six and eight for $18 each. Total action - $76
2. Total left in rack - $424
3. Total bankroll - $500
4. Net win/loss - $0
5. Explanation of strategy: I am subscribing to the "don't bet the pass line until the shooter proves he can make a point" philosophy by playing the DP with odds. I use $30 odds because that amount just happens to work with any point the shooter establishes. On a higher limit table I'd lay $60 odds. I am placing the six and eight because they are the easiest numbers to roll. I am looking for one hit on the six and eight. After that first hit I will regress to $12 each on the six and eight and go "same bet" on the next hit. From that point on I will press every other hit on the six or eight - pressing only the number that rolls. If the shooter makes his pass on the nine I will switch to the right side and play Pass with $30 odds - again because it works with all point numbers. If the shooter establishes the six or eight as the point I will take down the point number and place that action on the next inside number not covered. Example, if the six becomes the point and I have $12 on the six I will lock up $2 and place the five for $10. If I have $18 on the six I will place the five for $15 - keeping the number of units in action the same as the bet I took down.
Okay, that's pretty much it. If any questions come up along the way post them on the thread. Let's use a RED font for those questions. If you don't know how to change the font color - just highlight the text you want to change the color on then click the color you want that text to be in the font colour chart to the right of the post box. TADA
Be sure to get your "bets" posted by 7PM daily. I will post the daily roll result sometime after 8PM and before 12 Midnight unless I find myself unable to access the computer for some reason or another. Be patient. Our technology out here in east Texas is pretty rustic.
Most of all - have fun and try to learn something in this exercise. And yeah, if one of you want's to play the strategy I just laid out above - knock yourself out.
Let's get those late bets in early.
