Greetings guys/gals,
I intend on going to the casino AND Playing only the DARK SIDE.
Of all the players on this board that go to the casino and play the DARK SIDE, how many of you are WINNERS ?
How many of you did play the DARK SIDE and Switched over to the Right Side and Why?
What was your BankRoll.
Did you play on a 5 or 10 or 25 or 100 dollar table.
luck at the casino.

To play the dark side one needs patience. The biggest pitfalls of dark side players is chasing a roll and not knowing when to walk away after a win.E.G.There is a string of point sevens and the dark side player has accumulated some money and starts getting cocky .Then he gets wiped out by the next shooter who makes 5 passes. There is a saying never fade a shooter more than twice.
Also one can lose at a much faster rate than playing the right side because the payouts are just the reverse of right side betting.
I play both ways.I have never made any money of significance playing the dark side however it has helped me preserve capital when things are running
bad.
I am not sure one can determine in advance that on the next trip I will only play the Donts.
Table minimums and bankroll size are irrelevant.Heavy and his team have posts on this website that guide players when to switch sides.
I have seen a guy win 100k playing the dark side;those sevens were popping like crazy but after two hours all good things must come to an end. This guy was smart enough to take his winnings and run

Greetings Kumar,
I will be running another Experiment, but this time on a real table,Will be buying in for 500 dollars AND playing 25 dollar table, you can make any 5 dollar or 10 dollar table into a 25 dollar, just bet on the comeout 25 dollars on the Don't pass line.
At first will be looking to win 200 dollars and leave.
Just another experiment on my part, do not make any other bet on the table./ sucker bets.
Thank you kumar for your Post.
Luck at the casino.

Moving this to a more appropriate forum. Last I checked, dark side play is still craps related, not games other than craps

I used to play the Patrick System and was a winning player. With small kids I can't get down enough to make it worth it.

I can tell you that DarthNater (Nate), who is off in Hawaii this week and is slated to be on the Hawaiian Craps Shooters Channel with Chef Dice tonight at 10PM Central Time, plays the Don'ts every time he steps up to the table. His primary play is SOME variant of the One Hit - Can't Miss. He's always looking for opportunities to profit from both sides of the game, but he's quick to transition from one side or the other depending on the ebb and flow of the game. But at the end of the day, he always comes back to the dark side and he NEVER picks up a Don't bet.

For those interested in the Dark Side I suggest searching this site for the play of Professor H. He was a real college Professor who loved the Don't and worked out the math for his play.
After that search for Dave's System for the Don't. Dave was a darksider who bought a new Lexus one year with his winnings and was told he could not play in pone Joliet casino because he was a winner. I played with him many times before I knew who he was. I recall one session at the Empress where it was just 2-3 of us and I kept getting the dice. Shooting from the darkside I set points, rolled 3-4 other numbers and then hit the red. Dave cleaned up. He could have $1,000 + on the don't at times.
The darkside will not knock your socks off, but it can, if played wisely, put cash in the wallet.

Well said, Golfer!
Dave’s system is not for the under-bankrolled, nor the feint of heart, but he and others have done well, DN8R

This weekend at the Beau Rivage a shooter from the dark side made 5 passes, ran out of money, dice was passed to the next shooter who made another 5
passes from the right side.Every time I am ready to say I have seen it all something new crops up
Also saw a shooter on the come-out roll seven sevens in a row.Another table saw 3 back to back twelves rolled in a row.Unfortunately it was not a crap less table

Sometimes the trend or the circumstances..or the variance shouts loudly in your ear. Good to listen after things happen twice. Fool me once....etc.

When the trend shouts it’s possible to miss by sliding into that terrible sickness called
TUMA.

Trends can be friends or fiends...... sometimes both.
I like to use observed triggers to flex my darkside play. For instance, lots of sevens or 11s on the comeout and I stop with the DPs and go with the DCs.
Likewise, when I start seeing PSOs, then its DPs with odds.
Also, when 6 or 8 keeps showing as the point, that kinda says to me that the table ain't cold - beware!
Of course, that's me; your mileage and attitude may vary, DN8R

Yeah, D..those are definite triggers. I also like tracking sevens before 5 rolls. Rolls diminishing, sevens showing. Random shooter comes out with an inside number and then another one..not so dark, but also could be a trap. But diminishing length of rolls view keeps you out of the chop. Yeah, it could be called the 5 count, but used in a different way.

Yeah, as Admiral Ackbar said "It's a Trap"......
My only problem with the diminishing number of rolls theory is once they reach PSO, where do you go? If the next guy PPSOs then is the table warming? PSO, PSO, PPSO, PPPSO.... its all random, or as Parson said in his youtube video, maybe its Triple Double Random? Don't let a 5 count degrade your profits, also until someone hits the Hawaiian Mendoza line, or a rooster crows, its still pretty dark. Hmmm a rooster crows, but crows cah? Time for bed, DN8R

Oh man, you've been with that early morning Hawaaian barnyard situation. The dice fly and the rooster attacks. I'll be in Vegas 21 august..where are those guys playing downtown? If a rooster crows "cah" it wants the Bently Continental brought around.

They seem to concentrate downtown, though if Chef Dice is in the entourage (which, I believe he is), then I'd expect him to appear at the Bellagio a few times, as he's a fan of their restaurants. I do not know their schedules, but enjoy spending time with them.
BTW Chef Dice has a superb Picasso at Bellagio video. Here's a link:

I enjoy playing the dark-side [Heavy's richochet - increasing lay odds on remaining bets when one gets knocked off], but it is tougher in a real casino. About the time that the table goes cold and I start winning, then all the right-side bettors quickly leave the table. Finally, as the last to leave, I'm forced to toss the dice and that's when the tide turns choppy. So I end up not making a big score.

That's when you pull up a stool, order a drink, and wait for some more players to join the game. Just sit there and shoot the bull with the dealers until someone else shows up ready to play. No need to stand there and shoot yourself in the foot. It's a grind. So grind it.
